Nicely located in the center of Namur. The interieur is not really WOW but the welcome smile, the nice menu and the perfect service make it good. Do try it out, it's worth it !

Excellent small restaurant at the hearth of the old Namur. We went with the specialty: the "choucroute alsacienne" Good choice ! A huge plate with sausage, ham, but everything was very good. I recommend easily

For us all we wanted was a simple well cooked lunch at reasonable speed and served with courtesy. And that is what we got. Unfussy and ordinary food, but the price to match. Busy lively place in a pedestrianised square the studenty quartier near the river.

This typical Belgian brasserie is located in a square, in the centre of Namur (about 40 min drive from Brussels). Food was simple, not extensive variety, but extremely tasty, in big portions and well-presented. The mules au Chef were to die for. The ambient was cosy, relaxed and romantic. Service was fast and attentive. Prices ranged from mid to low... More

This is the kind of place you take your friends for a nice, generous meal prior to a night out dancing and/or drinking. The menu is straightforward, composed mostly of comfort food (try the Escalope du Chef!) and classic desserts. Nothing too creative, but that's not why you are here. Food quality is above average, prices are low and the... More

We stopped by for lunch. My wife enjoyed the Greek Salad and my Fish Salad was pretty good too. Very reasonable prices. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They went out of their way to suggest and prepare a salt-free meal for our 18 month old son. He loved his beef kebab on a skewer. He was even more... More

Located next to the busy main shopping of lovely Namur you will find La Taverne Alsacienne in a square surrounded by other restaurants and bars. Away from the noisy traffic, the cobblestones add color to the scene. The Alsace is famous for its hearty farmer’s kitchen containing sauerkraut and lots of meat; sausages, pork chops, etc. We arrived during lunch... More

I really wanted to like this place, but the service completely ruined the experience. After I asked a waiter if I could sit wherever I wanted and he said yes, I am asked not even a minute later to move from the 4 chairs table I chose to another 4 chairs table in case numerous customers would enter (we were... If I was able, I'd rate my experience here between "average" and "very good." In fact, my meal was perfectly fine and plentiful. I chose a dish relatively popular to Belgium, North Sea shrimp stuffed into tomatoes. It was nice and came off the suggested list. The house red wine was good, too. This restaurant is located on the Marche... More
