We stopped there for a drink and a snack on a Saturday afternoon because the place looked inviting and a great spot for people watching . Food and drinks were o.k. but pricy ! The service was bad : cold and unfriendly . There are better places in Brugge !

Amazing food! May seem a little pretentious, but don't let that put you off. Visited this place three times in two days. Beef carpaccio, and Flemish stew 5*

I came here with my boyfriend on a Saturday evening. We normally avoid such blatant tourist traps, but thought we'd give this one a go. We sat outside, which was quite pleasant, and both ordered king prawns (scampi) - one with garlic butter and one with a slightly spiced mild curry sauce. These came with chips and mayonnaise. The food... More

We ordered a set lunch with mussels, big portions, tasty food and good atmosphere. The restaurant looks very classic inside and has a nice outdoor terrace.

Located in the heart of the Burg, this is a great place to people watch, sit and have a beer and a snack. We ordered the mussels and shared a lasagne. Both were good and came promptly. For a tourist haunt, the price was reasonable. The place was busy and hence it can take some time to wait for a... More

I've never been charged 8,50 for a simple cappuccino. In Brugge you don't need to fear the burglars on the Burg Square, but the ones running a legal business!

The food is good, but the staff is very unhelpful, almost bordering on rude. We asked for the food to be packed to be taken home and we were refused straightaway, later when we requested that we'd like to go Dutch on the bill we were again refused (very surprising since we are in Flanders). The ambience and location is... More

Visited with family, a brilliant place with lovely food and friendly service. Prices were the same as most other eateries in the town centre, yes it wasn't cheap but if you are going to have a meal in one of the main squares in one of the best European cities, you are bound to pay the price. But it was... More

Well done them for being open after 10pm on a Tuesday in April. And great view from this establishment of one of Bruges's two beautiful squares, the Burg. But being the only bar/restaurant on the square, it charges shameless prices. The bill for a quarter litre of house Bordeaux was €12. Chilly service - they wanted immediate payment, and then... NEW OWNERS Classically stylisch bistro/restaurant with the best view in town. The large terrace offers a picture perfect view, looking out over the Burg square and its famous City Hall. Just next to the Basilica of the Holy Blood. Traditional cuisine, with famous local dishes. Magnificent interior with a mix of dark wood, copper and lace... A feast for all senses.
