Likely just an off night, but the waiter and host seemed to be in a row all night which made for poor ambience (fighting repeatedly in front of customers) and worse service (sitting around waiting for the next course, water or wine, or the check). Even if an off night not professional.

We went there on a Saturday evening and to our surprise it wasn't very crowded. Friendly staff - delicious food and nice champagne & wines. Interior decoration a bit outdated but a very good experience overall.

We have been here before and we will be back again. We came for a special occasion while spending a weekend in Bruges. We had a reservation, as you should on a Saturday evening. We were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant has a high ceiling and is very elegant. Since we were celebrating, we went for the Degustatiemenu (Gourmet... More

This was a great meal with great service and a good atmosphere. We ordered three different fish dishes. Our meal came with a delicious appetizer and a wonderful array of small desserts. The coffee was great and the food plentiful and truly good. I would definitely recommend giving this a try! You won't be disappointed.

If you want the 4 course set menu then this is a great choice. Excellent food and well presented. Not so much variety on the a la carte and not good for vegetarians. A single sitting is welcome and not being hurried. Not too busy and therefore a pleasant ambience.

A little off the downtown center lies lthis nice restaurant. Not on the everyday tourist route but within walking distance to most hotels. Excellent food and service. An explosion of favors in every dish. All cooked carefully to perfection with fine ingredients. A restaurant out of the ordinary in a town with plenty of options. Wine list extensive but expensive.... More

Our last visit to this restaurant made us want to check out other listings on the menu, and again to our full satisfaction. Excellent food! But we were all by ourselves in the restaurant, enjoying individual service, but still feeling a bit funny. Strange, really, considering the service and the food. Can't understand why other raters consider it an overpriced... More

We had asparagus with smoked salmon as first course and cod as main. Especially the latter was top class, perfectly cooked and the portion overall not overdone. The wine list the best we have come across in Bruges. Not a heap eatery but definitely worth it.

A little away from the heart of Bruges, you'll find the restaurant. Great food, great service. There is even a special elevator for wheelchair users to go to the toilet. The personnel is very helpful to operate the elevator. I definetly would come back here again.

Fabulous restaurant with fantastic food. Ideal for groups. Wonderful flavours and presentation. Excellent service. Trio of appetisers and trio of desserts are excellent. Staff are absolutely professional and let them recommended the wine.
