The restaurant is nice enough inside. 4 of us ate, they had ran out of chutney to have with the starters, we all ordered different curry and each one was overpowered with chilli, would not recommend

A nice change to be able to get a spicy curry outside of the UK. Pleasant staff and must be good because as we left the restaurant filled up with a party of about 30 indian people.

You would be wrong to overlook this place, assuming from its proximity to the main square that the food would be just OK. It's not. It's good. Portion sizes are about right (barring the chutneys), everything tastes fresh and full of flavour, and you get the choice of exactly how spicy you want a dish - a rarity in most... More

3rd visit now and still a great experience. Well visited place both by tourists and locals. There is a friendly Indian lady running this lovely little place. Food is great, choice is good and prices are among the best for Indian food in Bruges.

The food is really good, not extremely spicy which I like, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely go there!

Enjoyed the Taj Mahal, the food was nice and the staff friendly. We had a mixed starter, chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani which were both delicious, shared a naan so plenty to eat and generous portions. Like other reviews didn't realise card wasn't taken until the end which lost it its fifth star as it was quite an inconvenience!... More

The quality of the food is good, tasty, not too spicy, good flavours. But normally indian food is about sharing. That is not possible because the portions of Taj Mahal are very small. For seven people, we got 2 small bowls of rice, (which would be enough for hardly 3 people). We asked for one bowl extra and had to... More

The food tasted great, but I don't understand why they don't take credit card. They told me there was an ATM around the corner. When I went there, it was a self service machine for the banks own customer, and there were no cash. If I need cash, there was very long way to the nearest ATM. It seems like... More

We ate here on New Year's eve and so glad we did. I called in the afternoon to make a reservation and we were lucky to get a reservation for 9pm. We arrived just before 9 and had to wait just a few minutes for our table to become free. The staff who met us were courteous and gave excellent... More

The food was good and so was quantity. The server was very good. However, we were surprised that they didn't accept credit cards. Luckily, we were able to find enough in our pockets to cover the bill. Wish they had a bigger sign! We noticed it on a tiny card in the window on the way out. Also, we were... More
