This restaurant is located a short but pleasant walk out of the centre of Bruges in a charming old building by a park. The menu choice was quite limited we both chose the traditional Flemish Vol au vent dish. This was comprised of 50% ris de veau (sweetbreads). It was well done but for our tastes a little overpowering. The... More

Despite a mixup with our booking which was organised in advance, Pomperlut made sure to resolve the issue and had us seated at another table within 5 minutes. This made for a bumpy start but was saved by the one lady who was running the show (front of house, cloak room manager, server, wine connoisseur, you name it...) which ensured... More

Really beautiful setting. Small restaurant, with only a few tables, and a select menu. Lovely ambience, with quirky decor. There was only one waitress, and one chef on the night we visited which meant they were both working very hard serving all the customers. We found our main courses very salty (so much we couldn't eat them). The waitress took... More

After much research, booked this restaurant as the highlight of a romantic and we'll deserved weekend break. We had a choice of table, friendly greeting. Open kitchen and food brought to the table by the chef. Very well put together, tasty and fresh food. Extremely talented chef, the waitress was doing very well at being maitre d', waitress, wine waiter... More

This is a lovely, quaint restaurant with lots of character. We went on a Saturday & it was full, with just one member of staff serving & two in the kitchen. The waitress was lovely, extremely attentive & friendly, but the wait for our main course was over an hour & a half which was too long. As a result... More

We had an absolutely exquisite evening here. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cosy, with lots of candles and lovely white linnen everywhere. You feel ´at home´ also because of the friendliness of the staff and the excellent background music which is well-chosen and not intrusive. We both went for the menu which was delicious. I was especially pleased with... More

A small characterful restaurant off the beaten track but worth the effort. The welcome was warm and our table ready for us. The restaurant is dark and cosy with wood panelling and a mushroom theme. We started with a decent Tom Collins and a little snack of cheese wrapped with ham and spicy popcorn. I had the shrimp croquettes -... More

This restaurant changed hands earlier this year and is now run by an enthusiastic young couple - he cooks and she waits on table with charm and a smile. The menu is limited and has an Italian flavour, but is beautifully presented and tasty. The wine list also has an Italian bent and a set menu is available. The restaurant,... More

This was a unique and wonderful place to eat. The value is also quite good given the caliber of the food. It's a very small and intimate restaurant which is both beautiful and uniquely decorated.
