I've been in Bruges with my girlfriend for Christmas holidays, looking for a place where to have a breakfast We found this fantastic tea room. I have eaten the best fruit waffle in My Life. I recomend You this experience also for normal break in any time during the day.

Lovely place to stop for a snack and they do wonderfully light waffles and interesting salads. Right in the heart of the shopping area so a lovely place to rest from retail therapy

Had lunch here with my wife. Two salads and the cheese croquettes. Service was quick, portions sizable, and the food was very fresh, made with good ingredients. I suspect there are better lunch places in Bruges, but this did the trick.

Having visited one day we spent a good 45 minutes searching for the same cafe again the following day. The ready made hot chocolate is worth searching for. Waffles loaded with fruit and all served with a smile. This really is the place for a break and a cuppa, but I will stick to the chocolate.

This is where the locals go to get the best waffles in town, plus great tea, coffee, cake and cookies. Memorable, best waffles we have ever had!

We were recommended to go there for a late BK/early lunch and we did not regret it! Food was hot, tasty and reasonably price... I went with the traditional Waffle (Hey went there for the local food!!) and my husband had this amazing dish which I unfortunately forgot the name but it was chicory wrapped up in ham with a... We stopped here for afternoon tea after a day on our feet as we explored the city. Although busy, we were quickly seated and served by a friendly and professional waitress. The tea was good and the cakes delicious. Afterwards we sought recommendations from her about good chocolate outlets from the myriad available and were thrilled with the recommendation! Thank... This lovely tea room serves light lunches and snacks, which all looked delicious, but we went straight for the waffles. We weren't disappointed, the waffles were light and tasty, accompanied by hot chocolate sauce and ice cream. If you only treat yourself to one sweet snack when in Bruges, make sure it's here

We have been going to Café au Lait every years since 2006. It is a family run tea room, with excellent service and the pancakes, waffles and light meals are delicious. Highly recommended.

My wife & I had a couple of waffles with butter/sugar, an omelette with ham, and eggs sunny side up with ham. All perfectly fine, and a friendly waitress too. 37 euros including a 10% tip, and it seems that in general, breakfasts in Europe are at least 35-50% more expensive than those in the United States. Given that, certainly... More
