We found this place from the Lonely Planet guide book to Bruges and went to check it out prior to booking on a Sunday. It's small, on two levels but has a lovely intimate vibe about it. Sunday night they have a live musician playing throughout and we enjoyed a very talented guitar/vocalist. It's run by a lovely couple who... More

A short enjoyable stroll from Bruges 'Markt' is this incredibly welcoming & well frequented wine bar. Operating on just two small floors, what this bar lacks in space it more than makes up for in selection of wines & friendly clientele. A true wine lovers establishment with an excellent glass sized selection of distinct Bordeaux, Rounded Raspberry Pinot Noir, Sexily... More

We came here after dinner for late night drinks. It's a small bar with not many tables, but the alcohol selection is brilliant and the atmosphere was very subtle.

Popped in here for a cheeky drink and really did find a hidden gem ! The wine bar is run by a couple whose knowledge of wine is exceptional. They have a wide range of wine and the small coziness of the wine bar is a perfect setting for a quiet drink. They had a young barman working the bar... More

Wijnbar Est is tiny, and the tables are squeezed into every space. It is warm and welcoming, and we were shown upstairs to a little table by the balcony rail, looking down into the busy downstairs, and across to the even tinier performers' area where "Double Blue" were completing their sound check. We ordered a very good bottle of Bordeaux... More

Small and crowded, but the warm accommodating owners make you feel like you're sitting in their living room. The tapas are reasonably priced since the are top shelf cheese meats. The wine selection both interesting and complete. You will not be disappointed.

January is a quiet month in bruges but thankfully we were pointed towards Est after a long days travelling. A wonderful welcome into this cost little bar. We sampled a number of fine wines - just to finish off the bottles, hate to waste them together with the grand tapas. A delightful evening and highly recommended.

We stopped here before going to Pro Deo. I found this on here and thought it worth a try as it is an actual wine bar and given that Bruges is full of beer, thought it would make a nice change! Lovely cosy place, very small but has an upstairs. They do food - tapas style and they also do... More

We visited the wine bar on our last night in Bruges. We ended up staying quite a while as the atmosphere was lovely and a bonus was the live music. We didn't eat here other than a dessert (delicious!) there is a decent selection of quality wines by the glass. The hostess is very welcoming and it made a lovely... More
