This is a typical Portuguese restaurant, right across from the castle. It serves pork and lots of it, if you are into pork. Most dishes are meat dishes and they don't come with many veggies. The pork was excellent and the location is great.

Lovely authentic atmosphere with a mix of Portuguese and international travellers when I visited. Helpfull waiter recommended the pluma from the menu. Best pork I have ever had though avoid if you like your meat lean! Excellent salad helped balance it.

Good food at reasonable prices. Good wine list - as you would expect in Alentejo. Attentive staff - good service.
