It was our first night in Portugal, and we started with Evora. We saw the menu on the window and we decided to give a try. We order the pork with clam and migas & pork. It was my first time to try migas, and we both loved it. The dish pork and clam was full of fries, and it... More

Having drinks on the square in Evora is great fun but to eat head down the side streets. We were advised to seek out this great restaurant and were not disappointed. Service was friendly and food delicious. Try the tomato based soup with eggs and spicy sausage which you pour over the local bread and that is just for staters... More

First, be warned - the portions are huge! Very generous amounts of food at excellent prices. We had the pork and clams with potatoes. The platter was full with very tender and moist pork beautifully complemented by the clams and small cubes of potatoes, all in a tasty and flavorful sauce. Very light and bursting with flavor. I will say... More

Went there for a quick lunch upon arriving in Évora. Food was good and the price is fair. Service was a bit slow otherwise it would get 4 stars

We arrived at closing time for lunch, however the owner was very happy to let us in. We had two fantastic regional dishes, Tomatada and the Lagartinhos with asparagus Migas. Wonderful meal. The service was descreet and attentive. Highly recommend this place and will be back!

We were not overly hungry but engined the sole and the pork ribs. The cover was more than enough to start, we took the full 4 offerings. The veggies were boiled and over done to my taste, but the chips were home made and good. Wine, local, inexpensive and reasonable. All in all not a place I would go again... More

Wonderful Tomato Soup to start and highly recommend the Porc Alentejo with cubed potatoes, Pork and Clams, wow! Had a wonderful meal here and the smells coming from the front door was the main reason for entering the restaurant, a true local style restaurant, elbows touching is expected as compact eating area but worth it.
