Just walked at lunch time past this restaurant and decided to try. Very simple but tasty food. Service friendly and quick. This all for a very reasonable price. Bacalhau com natas e espinafres was the dish of the day and I was not disappointed.

Inexpensive, simple home-style cooking in a rather nondescript setting. Good wine and pleasant waitstaff.

The food was amazing and the portions were very generous! I ordered the half plate of octopus and my boyfriend ordered the veal steak. The octopus was amazing, very soft and tasty, the best one I've ever had! The half plate was enough, but it was so tasty that I regreted not ordering the whole portion. The veal was also... More

Best restaurant I've visited after 6 trips to Evora. The food is home made and unpretentious. Great to have a half portion option too.

It doesn't look much from the street but this neighbourhood eatery goes back a long way, and it's a great option if you're looking for a bargain fill-up. We only sat down out of curiosity after our chosen destination outside the city walls proved to be closed on a Monday night, and the solitary diner in the place did not... More

visited the restaurant around noon today and had to drink a beer for dehydration. I ordered house wine(Branco) and Octopus for solo. Food was great for the price (paid only 8.6 for all) and staff was always there when I needed. And wine..not only the quality but also the quantity for the price (charge me only 1.1).. I've got to... We were off season, but you could not get a table after 8pm. When you enter the place doesn't look much, but I recommend it. Menu was limited, but the food was served fast and was really very good, house red wine was great. Price was very reasonable, for two mains and two drinks 20 eur.

Good food for the price, friendly. Nothing fancy, but good honest good in sensible portion sizes. The house wine is one of the best wines I've ever tasted. It was a real surprise - my wife and I toasted and then immediately both commented on how good it was.

This is where locals and the young crowd eat. A nice family restaurant, don't expect the "rustic decoration to impress the tourists" vibe. The menu has typical alentejo dishes but also generic portuguese food like steaks and roasted octopus. The portions are generous and it is much cheaper than everywhere else. Good wines are present and order the house wine... More
