Enjoyed our traditional Portuguese meal. We were not that hungry so opted to share a starter, in this case the beans with tuna in a vinegrette, that was very good. And shared the large rice with monkfish, shrimp and clams stew. Delicious flavours in the broth. We ordered a bottle if red , which was a recommendation by the waitress ,... More

This very local restaurant down a side street was so good we went with friends two nights. The staff was helpful and friendly, and food was excellent, especially the rice and monkfish and shrimp dish. Very reasonable and good food and house wine. Worth looking for.

We had delicious black port and clams in this restaurant, which was full of locals when we went - enough of a recommendation!

Like the title says it is the best place in Evora to eat. Food is fresh and always beautiful every time. I'm here on business for roughly 3 months and would eat here every night if they were open. It's a must for anyone who enjoys good food.

This is a very good place to try typical Alentejo food in a genuine environment. Service is very nice and the food also very good.

Soon after we arrived, others were turned away so we were lucky to get a table without a reservation. It was very busy and very, very noisy. I had cabrito with roasted potatoes and salad while my husband had pork with clams and fries. Food was quite yummy but it was almost painfully noisy. Service was pleasant. Total cost with... More

We lunched here with friends and enjoyed the lovely environment and friendly service as well as the food. A local cheese and delicious bread with local red wine was great! The guys ordered wild rabbit and were very happy with it. I ordered duck with chestnuts and mushrooms. I didn't think to ask how the duck was cooked and it... More

Had a wonderful group dinner (20 people) here in October. It is a small, out of the way restaurant, but one of the best we visited during our time in Portugal. The owner mans the kitchen, along with his son-in-law and daughter. Restaurant is named quarter past nine because the clock on the wall was stopped at this time years... More

Enjoyed a lovely fall dinner on the terrace in a cobbled, lantern lit, back alley. Could not have had nicer service. The soup of the day must have translated to something like delicious small shark swimming in an enormous soup tureen l! Seriously large portions of everything are served here. This restaurant is known for it's fresh fish but the... More

We arrived after booking a table through our hotel (recommended by the hotel!)... after sitting for 20 minutes we finally managed to find someone to give us a menu... about 15 minutes later we managed to get someones attention to get us drinks... We then proceed to order and (apart from the 6 items on the menu that had a... More
