We ate here for a late Xmas Day lunch. Very few places open but this, and the restaurant next door, was. Plenty of tables, larger inside than it looks. Large menu choice. I went for the roast baby goat. I kid you not! Food fine, service variable. One waiter (luckily ours) superbly efficient, the rest were amusing to watch! Locals... More

We were tempted in here by the waiter outside showing us the fresh sea bass. My wife loves sea bass but hates bones so we asked if it could be filleted for her which they said no problem. When the fish arrived it was still fully on the bone but one of the waiters obliged by dissecting it for her... More

I was passing by and stop for a couple of beers and decided to have dinner ! The local have a nice charme and quante ! Had grilled chicken with a lovely piri-piri sauce , nice side salad and chips . Enjoy all but was expecting real chips not frozen ones , but overall ok ! Will be back !

Had a meal here early in the holiday and with expereince and hindsight it was in my opnion overpriced. The fish was OK - the vegetables were also Ok - service was good so that made up for some of the pricing.

Over last 25 years have eaten here many times. On our last visit several years ago it still had the original Portuguese feel to it but on this visit it has been stripped away leaving a rather garish decor. Food still worth a try though they are going to have to stop serving it lukewarm. Pity really- it seems that... More

Stumbled into this restaurant, for a snack mid day, had coffee and the most awesome pastries. My wife a chef , asked the propriater the ingredients of the cake she was eating....none e less we decided to return that evening for dinner and chose our own sea bass which was cooked on a charcoal grill traditionally Portuguese . Food was... More

It would be easy to miss this place : there is a small doorway, you go down a corridor and come into a huge atrium. It's an open kitchen so you can see all the food being cooked. (It's also an open wash up area so you can see all the plates being done!) You can choose your own fish... More

Little did we know when we entered this restaurant (by luck) we would enter a place we would never forget. It is huge as you walk inside and it has a large covered patio and lots of art and crafts everywhere. The waiters/staff are so friendly. Everyone speak so many languages, no need to even try Portuguese (not that I... More

Rice was a tad undercooked. The broth was pretty flavorful with cilantro. I want to give it 3.5 stars. I feel like 4 is too much and 3 is too little, although it was pretty average. Very satisfying, but I could tell the octopus was not the freshest. They did serve a good appetizer for free; carrots and olives in... More
