I'm so happy that I found that restaurant. It looks like old-traditional portuguese restaurant with astonishing atmosphere. The prices are good and food is great(ordered fishes were fresh). That was a first time, when I was able to feel the portuguese style so well. I recommend it so much.

Well worth the walk up the hill to find this place. Greeted by the owner giving us a couvert of chilled muscat, lovely olives, bread and marinated sardines. The house wine comes by the half pitcher and is a very reasonable price. We selected our fish from the fridge and it was then grilled over the coals outside. Delicious fish,... More

They have many kinds of fish food but I think the value is not good for the price. It seems like a local restaurant but actually it is touristic one. The food is also not impressive, just so so.

This is a smallish restaurant tucked away in a back street - thus the name 'hidden' - with a specialty of grilled seafood. We had a large platter for a reasonable amount, and a plate of razor clams that were very tasty though weird-looking (long narrow tube shells with long yellow 'clams' inside). The host was very friendly - he... More

The best place for grilled sardines is this hidden restaurant behind the graveyard. To book is not a solution, either you go late for lunch but be aware...they do not serve you if you go after 3pm. Fin8sh with the almond pie. Gilberto e Cidália are there for more than 35 years. jokas

If you like fresh seafood, cooked to order, and an unassuming, genuine atmosphere and service; make a reservation and enjoy.

This restaurant specializes in fish dishes. In the menu there are at least 20 fish dishes while the number of meat dishes is less than 5. We had booked a table for dinner at 7.00 p.m. On entering the restaurant we were made to feel very welcome. Throughout our dinner the service was excellent, very friendly and relaxed. Even the... This is a place which is hard to find, its up behind the Tivoli. It is a portugese restaurant which specialises in fish.Do not expect linen tablecloths & huge menus, what you get is perfectly cooked fish (order sardines & they just keep coming).Fish potatoes salad carafe of wine perfect!.No need to dress for dinner.
