My wife and I stayed at the Mareta Boutique nearby and came here for a lovely meal 3 years ago. It's been a long time and I've been meaning to write the review ever since. My wife ordered the octopus which was made in the oven with potatoes, rice and olive oil. To this day, our mouths still water when... More

While staying in Sagres for 4 nights, we had checked out a number of possible dinner options. When our intended destination was closed on Tuesday, we walked down the street to Grelha and weren't disappointed. We haven't had a poorly cooked meal on our trip through Portugal, only a couple of cases of poor service. It looked bright and clean... More

Just walked in for lunch and glad we did. The place does not look like much from outside but we had a very nice lunch including shrimp curry, grilled calamari, grilled sardines and a bottle of Vino Verde. They do have wifi.

We had the Brazilian steak dish. Served with black beans rice, chips and salad. It was lovely. Two drinks total 29 euros. Not the cheapest of lunches but very yummy. Worth a stop if your in the area.

We stopped in for dinner one evening. It wasn't busy, seemed like a good local restaurant for dinner. Boy were we happy we stopped in! The owner/ server was friendly and very helpful. We ordered a Portugese dish for two, made with monk fish and served at the table in a small sauce pot. It was the best meal we... More

Perhaps I was lucky to eat a sole caught in the morning. But at least I stuck to fish caught locally which is what one should do when eating in a fishing port. What a stupid idea to order shrimp (see comment by Axurit1) probably imported from Vietnam and fed with waste. The slowly cooked on charcoal sole just sprinkled... More

Thanks to TA contributors we had lunch at this nice little restaurant. Half of the patrons were locals. We had the grilled sardines and chicken in a mushroom sauce. Everything was good, the portion were very generous and bonus: a complimentary glass of Porto. Not cheap (25€ for two with wine). Recommended

Visited Sagres for the day with intention of staying 4 lunch. Walked passed this restaurant and was fairly busy with locals eating Sardines which looked lovely so we decided to give it a try. Big mistake - our Sardines were little skinny things - nothing like the locals were served - and we got different beer ???? Avoid unless you're... More
