Really busy place and we managed to get the last table outside. It is for tourists but the service and the quality of the food is very good. My wife and I shared a prawn cocktail to start with and then had fillet steak that you cook yourself on a hot stone. The steak was really good quality and very... More

This place caters to tourists and always seems to be busy. Not sure how many come back again, though. We came here for dinner on our first night in Cascais. The menu follows the formula for Portuguese tourist restaurants, with a bit a Greek cuisine thrown in. It's alright if you are hungry and don't know where else to go.

One of several pubs/restaurants by a square near the beach. We went there in the afternoon. I had duck with orange and potatoes, it was slightly dry and not too impressive. But the cod fish stew got the tumbs up from the others. Slightly different from the Bacalao a la Vizcaina we're used to in Norway. If you sit outside... More

My family and I stopped by for lunch yesterday on our way to Sintra. We were recommended this place by our guide. We ordered the lamb chops, grilled giant octopus, seafood rice, grilled cod fish, pizza, basket of bread with sardines and butter. We also had beer to go along with the meal. Service was friendly but alas, the food... More

Wonderful staff who made you feel like friends. No rushing, spent a leisurely couple of hours sitting outside drinking wine, eating some small dishes and enjoying the beauty of Cascais. Dhakal was wonderful. It's no wonder we are thinking of moving here!

Had single portion for the suckling pig. Was below expectation as the skin was chewy rather then crispy or crackling. The meat was also not as well seasoned and tended to be just under cooked. overall edible but Ive had better.

Grilled octopus was fantastic. And the caldeirada (fish stew) with bread at the side of the pot was a hearty wrap up for our meal. One drawback, waited a while for the food.

We visited as part of a nostalgic reverie and ate here more for memories than checking trip advisor first. I'd not eat here again. The food was "ok" and that's about all I can say. Service was average at best. Glad I popped back but for the memories only.

Thank Rachel S
