Fish restaurant with wide ranging menu. Fresh fish presented for selection. The sole was particularly well cooked. Meat is also available.

Restaurante O Pescador is a really magic place where you can eat very well in a shiny noon under their huge white umbrellas! Personnel very friendly and polite! The kitchen was fantastic! You have to try fish soup & lobster soup as well!

Have been here before as we go to Cascais a lot. Have obviously changed owners. The usual "lure you in". We sat, ordered wine and looked at the menu. Decided on our meals, fish and steak, OK but nothing to rave about. Sadly whilst eating nOT once did the waiter or waitress come over and ask if everything was OK,... More

Spent a day in Cascais and I was looking for a good seafood place, and it ended up being exactly what I was looking for. Definitely recommend it. Delicious food, lots of variety in the menu, good service and great ambiance.

We got the usual high pressure to come in as we walked past so we gave in just to see what it was like. To be fair everything we had was fine but my wife's octupus wasn't as good as we'd had the night before, both in the way it was cooked or presented. I had the cod which was... More

We thoroughly researched the restaurants here and our first choice was closed so we tried Pescador. We had starters and a seafood platter for two. The lobster soup was fine and the tuna tartar for which the marinade was too much. The seafood platter was disappointing. The lobster was not the big ones, but some smaller creatures. To top it... It's worth moving away from the touristy centre square and paying the very little extra few euro for the quality of the food....great service, plenty of fish and shellfish in it...three clean plates went back, two nights in a row!!!

This place was recommended to us by a local shopkeeper. We only had a fish stew thing which looked nice tasted ok but was far from great. The service was a little on the slow side and I got the feeling that when they realised we were not going to be big spenders we became invisible. We avoided the offered... More

Superb selection of food and wine to choose from, Fresh fish (not taken from an aquarium). Not the cheapest place around but certainly one of the best. Very firendly and knowledgable staff. Highly recommended

I believe this restaurant is owned by Dna Lurdes. Friend of my parents but I didn't want to introduce myself as I wanted a nice meal without imposing. It's not the cheapest but it's well worth the extra. Will be going back with friends next time am in Portugal. Recommend
