Recommended by a taxi driver who had his wedding breakfast there. Fabulous ambience, superb food and frequented by mainly Portugese which is always a good sign. We both had the sea bass and were not disappointed. Much cheaper than we expected so great value for money. Would definitely recommend

This pearl of a restaurant has been around for nearly 40 years an runned by the same family. Besides the wonderful seafood, international distes and Portuguese cuisine, the service is 5 Star, the decor is original and very cozy. If You are looking for a great restaurant, with a nice ambiance and truly reasonable priced, you can't miss "Traquitanas"! One... More

Nice food, the staff is very professional and it's like being at home! The produts are always fresh, seafood is well prepared and always there are traditional portuguese plates.

Outstanding Portuguese food. The service was great and the shellfish was as fresh as it gets. We also had the Steak on a Stone and can't say enough about the quality of the meat.

I know most of the restaurants in the area and visit them often. This one is by far the best and very typical. The cuisine is amazing. The atmosphere is ideal for couples specially in the evening. The waiters are polite and the waiting time is about right. The tornedo au Madeira is amazing. The rice with Filetes de Garoupa... More

Had dinner in January 15. Good food and reasonable price, staff not specifically super friendly but ok. Tell them if you don't like the starter they put you on the table. Skewer with sea food suggested

Been to this restaurant many times, and the food never disappoints. Very good, very fresh Portuguese cuisine. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it. Service is also very good. Personal favourite is their "Tornedo Rossini", never fails to hit the spot! Better in the evenings for dinner than lunch.
