The restaurant was neatly served and everything looked delicious and it was. I had the "Tosta Mista" and it was delicious.

I was passing by and decided to have lunch here, they have a nice place outside where you can have a drink or a cake and then inside they have a restaurant which is very well presented. Had fish for lunch and it was nice and fresh. I asked to change the potatoes for vegetables and they were easy going... More

I've known this excellent 'patisserie' in Lisbon since I was a teenager ! And it still is the top one in the area - nothing compares ! Located in a residential and commercial area of mid-high range, it has recently been remodeled but the main décor wisely kept with a lighter atmosphere. It offers a wide selection of salted and... The traditional and well known Lisbon establishment has been renovated recently. However the service remains very poor. I was there to have lunch with some friends and the waiter mixed the orders, forgetting one of them. The salad was not impressive too. And we had to call the waiter several times before they brought us the bill. I like to... More

I never understood why this restaurant/cafe is so famous, maybe because some history, I don't know. But in fact there´s nothing here that ake me rate it as special or different. It´s a ordinary restaurant/café on a "posh" area of the City. Is regular attended by high end society or pretending to be high-end. The service/staff is cold except to... More

I have been to Mexicana a couple of times, and I always tell myself that I will never go back. It is quite expensive, especially for Lisbon and considering that it is not in the touristic routes, and the waiters are always a little rude, not insulting but not welcoming either, as if they were making you a favor for... It's one of the most traditional cafes in Lisbon. It needs redecoration.Service is very bad. The food is far from delicious. There is inside and outside seating. Price high for what they offer.Don't recommend it

Good café for a piece of cake with your coffee. If you happen to be in the area and need a place to have dinner, and you do not expect too much, it may be ok.

Mexicana is a cafe/restaurant. As a cafe it is very good, perfect for a hot chocolat or a tea during the winter time or just an ice cream in the summer. You can sped some time reading and just enjoying the peacefull atmosphere of lisbon. As a restaurant i would not recomend it. For me it is better just to... More
