We had out last family meal here before leaving Lisbon. The layout of the place is interesting and there's a little bit of history and memorabilia about the place which inspired conversation. The food was very tasty and all in all we had a great last night!

Excellent environment, service a bit slow, and staff not very friendly, like they were doing you a favour by serving you a meal. The meal was ok but nothing extraordinary. Very expensive for the kind of service and meal. Probably will not go there again.

This place is an institution rather than a restaurant. Plant yourself at the bar and order one of the many typical Portuguese dishes on offer from the menus stored in the lovely Art Deco'esque holders in front of you.

One of the oldest snack-bars of Lisbon. The cuisine is regular. Some of the staff are not quite professional. You can have a meal at any time during opening hours.

This restaurant is well known for its good and efficient service, open till 3:00 am. It has an overpriced extensive menu, including patisserie and restaurant with lots of very well cooked dishes. Once I tried the filet mignon. One of the best steaks I had. Recommendable, but expect a cost of 20€ plus per person.

Galeto is by far our most favourite Lisbon restaurant, the service & food have never failed to impress us. We're regular visitors as the food is always excellent and the service is always top notch. It's opened from 7.30am-3am so you can pop in for a late meal/snack or whenever you fancy. Even though it was opened in 1966 it's... More

I'm from the East Coast-so I know about diners. So when I went to Lisbon, the last thing I expected was to walk iin to is the largest diner counter I had ever seen.Beyond the glass cabinets filled with cakes and pastries, across from the early 60's brass tack walls was what couldonly be described as a one-sided Diner vision....
