Three ladies had a wonderful evening at this restaurant last week. We had tried to get a table at the renowned Journalist's club but it was fully booked and the receptionist recommended we try Armazem da Cachaca. We were so pleased she did. The decor is old Lisbon, giving a relaxed but classy atmosphere . The food was delicious and... More

Excellent food - imaginative flavours and combinations; traditional but with a great twist. Beautifully presented, well cooked and interior is very stylish and and relaxing. The service was warm and efficient; our waiter was lovely. This is a relatively new restaurant and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Not in the centre of Lisbon but worth seeking out.

This is an old shop with the old fitting, which adds to the experience. The staff great and speak good English. Menu is small, but all four of us had great food, including a vegetarian, little (no options on menu) but made "vegetarian special". Good selection of local wine. From the outside does not show the quality of the food... More

After passing this very inviting place several times during the day when they're closed, we finally made it for dinner one night and had a lovely meal! The service was beyond friendly, and the chef came out to help my husband plan a vegetarian option that was not on the menu (and which came out delicious- a veggie version of... More

We went as a couple at 9ish on a wednesday night - only two other couples were in and that is a shame as it is a fabulous place. The building is an old grocers and has great soul, the staff are lovely - we were offered a number of wines to taste to help with our choices. Food was... More

We went for dinner in this nice restaurant in the Lapa district during our first day in Lisbon. The plan was to change restaurant every evening but the place was so good that we decided to go a second time. Food is great: it is a fusion between Portuguese and Brasilian cuisine. Ricardo (the cook) will provide you with detailed... More

An old grocery shop transformed in a beautiful cozy restaurant, where me and my friend had a very nice meal. Though the menu is small, I had an amazing soup of sweet potato and we shared an excellent codfish and a pork with a fantastic sauce. The waiter was very friendly. He offered us a glass of sparkling wine when... More

We just stumbled this nice restaurant as our B&B is just across this place. Awesome food, outstanding service and wonderful wine. We are already making plans to be back tomorrow night.

We had been eying the menu and the beautiful establishment every time we walked past and decided to try it out. The fabulous wooden and glass cabinets and drawers from a 19th century grocery create the decor here. The food is Portuguese with a hint of North Africa and we dined magnificently following the suggestions of the maitre d'.

Intention to eat light quickly changed once we arrived - lovely meal. Drunken prawns and chicken tieta for mains with very nice bottle of red, followed by dessert and port. Ambience perfect for relaxed dinner and lovely design - old shop fittings dating back to 1896 still in place. Do yourself a favour and dine here - didn't need to... More
