Specialized in really good meat. Portions are big. Lot of variations of steaks and the likes. Service OK. Interior nothing special. When I was there, I was the only non local person. Got there via a local colleague. If you look for a meat oriented diner, this is definitely a recommendation.

We were looking for a steak dinner after a week of eating fish and chose this one based on reviews. We had one of our most memorable dining experiences in a long time! The place was packed and there was a line and waiting list so we thought we might have to wait a while. But they found us a... More

Food, especially meat & also seafood, are good, atmosphere quite lively for singles, couples or even families, the only drawback is difficult to park if you're coming with a car.

This is probably the place to find the best meat in town. Wide variety of portuguese meats such as the barrosã. Large portions of tender meat sirloin will make a feast for meat lovers. Not adéquate for vegies. Profissional staff and nice contemporany deco. The downside is only the lack of natural light and the fact that is hard to... More

It was the first restaurant which we visited in Lisbon, as it was very close to our apartment in Voyage Guest House. We ordered the beef steak coming from cows raised in north Portugal in wonderful conditions (they say)! It was not a disappointing experience! The steak was wonderful and so were the vegetables we ordered! I was not impressed... More

A local place in a non-descript area but worth going due to the lovely meat. Went for lunch and ordered a selection - burgers, turkey kebab, ribeye and sirloin. The turkey kebab was surprisingly the best. We had to send back the steaks to get them cooked a bit more but they were very nice when they came back, if... More

Hungry for meat? Come on and come in. This place has some serious beef to offer. The downside? It is a bit hard to find. And the quality of the food is not matched with a nice environment.

Thank Luke Z

This neighborhood restaurant is not in a great area but it is charming and cooks tremendous Portugese food. We ate there 3 out of 5 nights in Lisbon. IMPORTANT: They have two menus--one in Portugese and one in English. All of the very traditional dishes are on the Portugese menu and not listed on the English menu for some reason. We had bachau lau (salted cod baked in olive oil and garlic--yummy!), grilled pork wrapped in bacon and grilled with green pepper (fantastic!), grilled salmon and grilled black pig. Look around at what the Portugese are ordering and just point and say that's what you want--the wait staff speaks fairly good English. Almost everyone was Portugese from that neighborhood so we felt it was very authentic. Prices ran about 7-12 euros per person for the main course and it came with a trip to the salad bar included in the price.
