I am writing this review for customers who (like me) don't eat sushi but love asian cooked food. For us, the sushi non-eaters, we know how hard it is to go out with friends who love sushi and not being able to join them on a japanese restaurant. Sakura offers you a wide variety of great cooked food, you can... More

I had a nice lunch in this restaurant, good price for the buffet(about 13€), obviously is not a real Japanese restaurant, run for tourists but good service and very good cakes in the end!

If you truly love and enjoy sushi and sashimi, you definitely would not like this place. This place is run by Chinese Portuguese who don't appreciate Japanese food culture.

Cool place, nice decor and calm. Had the all you can eat at lunch and everything was tasty, fresh and flavorful. Lots of variety and options. Desserts were OK. Staff could be more friendly. Make sure you only order what you can eat, if you leave any leftovers you will pay for them.

The sushi buffet here on a Saturday is outstanding. You choose the dishes you want and they are brought to the table. The sushi is flavoursome with a wide range available. The quality of the sashimi was superb. The best sushi I have eaten in all of Lisbon. I have only been to the Alcantara branch so not sure how... More

Paid 20€/person for low quality sushi. The rice was mushy, the fish rubbery and the soy sauce very salty. Even the chopsticks looked like they were made of cheap plastic. The ambiance was shady, old fashioned and even had some weird looking customers. Maybe it was bad timing on my part, but really did not enjoy nor recommend. There are... More

I visit regularly this Japanese sushi resto regularly as I work nearby. That said, this is not one of the best sushi restaurants, however at 15 euros buffet and being nearby it is very convenient. The staff tries to be mildly helpful, and for a change of a business lunch, it is very acceptable. The only complaint I have is... More

Myself and three others entered Sakura on a Saturday just after 12:00pm. There was a woman behind a counter near the wide open door who told us they weren't open yet and instructed us to sit in a waiting area. We sat for about 10 minutes in the dark before they turned the lights on. There was bad Korean music... More

We went to the Dutch embassy and in front of it we discovered this Japanese restaurant. The staff was not very friendly, but they were at least polite. We used the buffet and we thought it was overpriced for what we got. The salmon was of bad quality, extremely fat, the food that was suuposed to be warm wasn't warm... More
