It's one of the best places to go for a late lunch, after visiting Belem. You'll definitely find a table and enjoy the delicious, traditional food, along with a bottle of vinho verde. The staff was really nice and polite. Pleasant experience overall.

Really nice food, well prepared, with staff that care. An authentic, local, unpretentious place to enjoy seafoods and grilled chops. Also great grilled sardines!

Our group of 3 tried this place based on TripAdvisor reviews, as we wanted lunch before Pastels be Belem snacks and the Monastery tour nearby. Quality of seafood is fresh, but the cooking is average, e.g. grilled sardines were overdone and too salty, clams were better, but surprisingly the mixed grill was the tastiest dish we had. Also had a... More

The food was really good and the staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming! They also made us try some other food we were curious about which we thought was very nice. The food is not over complicated and does feel like you're having a good meal at home! Despite being in a tourist area, you don't feel like you are... More

All the food was incredible. One of the best restaurants I have ever visited. I don"t love fish but this place serves amazing fish dishes. Very good service and even the deserts were very nice.

We arrive there after asking one of the CCB workers where would he eat... he asked: at "Os Jerónimos". There we go... what did we found? One of the best restaurants I have ever been, if you understand "good" as a mix of professionalism and sense of humor... the waiters ask you for your order while you are still waiting... More

Went to this place based on the TripAdvisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. The seafood was fresh and the service was efficient. The prawns in olive oil, garlic and coriander were outstanding, my sea bass was fresh and simply grilled with amazing flavours. My wife was also very happy about her Salmon. I would recommend to have a meal here... More

We were lucky to get a seat during busy lunch time at this restaurant. We were very happy to see seating many Portuguese too, as that is always a good sign. :) Grilled sea-bream & Grilled Sardines were just an amazing , tasted very good, juicy, .... and served with home made chips, which were delicious too! Together with water the... More

Really enjoyed eating 'real' freshly cooked Portuguese dishes here. Management and staff very friendly and welcoming. Good choice. Not expensive. Best on this stretch in Belem.

Staying in Belem

Neighbourhood Profile
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
