Service was nice but the food was horrible. I left more than half - and I'm a Brazilian from Rio who's living in Europe and who'd die for an opportunity of eating Brazilian food. The coxinha was reheated, which is never good for fried food; the empada was made with a completely different dough, not at all the Brazilian recipe;... More

I randomly stumbled upon this place while walking back to my hostel in Lisbon. They have an excellent variety of snacks and juices traditional to Rio and the rest of Brazil! I will definitely be back :)

While a little overpriced for the amount you get, the food here is very nice and affordable by Baixa standards. Do come here to try some Brazilian flavours. Truly recommend tryin the Paçoquinha for dessert.

This is the perfect place to stop by when you want to eat something and continue your sightseeing! The service isn't perfect, but the food is light and the natural juices are revigorating. Pastel de vento and Açaí are a perfect combination!

We had a few pastéis at the Feel Rio Dolce Vita Tejo, which I regret until now. The pastéis took almost 20 minutes to be ready. Half of our order was ready and had to wait for the rest, so when we got our whole order the first half was already cold. I don't mind waiting a bit for our... More

It's fine and easy, but wasn't really digging the cheese empanadas and the side was pretty bland. Needed lots of hot sauce. Juice was good.

What else is left to say? Not like the ones you can eat the 'feiras' in São Paulo, mainly because the choice of cheese is not really spot on, however, the Pastel is pretty much decent, very big ! I personally think the price is a little bit too high for what it is: a simple rolled out dough made... More

Went here expecting to find the delicious "Brazilian pastel" but we were dissapointed! It is Over priced for what you get. We ordered 2 pastel, 2 juices and it cost us as much as having 2 main courses in most restaurants around Lisbon. The "pastels" were just ok but not even close to the ones we eat in Brazil. I... When it comes to a snack time, you definitely should give this little Bar a try. We did and went here most likely every 2nd day during our stay. What you get here is real good Brasilian fast food. Couxinha (com catúpiri), Quibe (com catúpiri) and various sorts of Pastéis de Vento which is their "main thing" plus several freshly... More

You get a bowl of acai here, a fruit from Brazil. It is pulped and mixed with ice and it is wondrous too. This cafe sells all types of Brazilian snacks, including pao de queijo or cheese bread. Quite expensive compared to Brazil prices but they need to import their ingredients so let`s just recommend this tiny cafe with high... More

Feel Rio is a landmark of the typical carioca "lanchonete" in Europe. Fresh squeezed fruit juices, acai bowl, pastel de vento, the delicious brazilian empanada and a very good mood to serve as at the copacabana beach. There are 2 stores in Baixa Chiado of Lisboa, at Rua do Crucifixo, 108 and at the Dolce Vita Tejo, the biggest mall in Portugal.Be welcome to visit us!

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
