This restaurant, owned by John Malkovic, is a great place to enjoy lunch on a beautiful day; sitting on the terrace, next to the water, we had a very good lunch This is a place where local businesspeople come to have lunch and relax

We had booked here for the last nights "gala" dinner, which we do at the end of every trip. The room is amazing but so huge that I found it rather souless. We sat on the terrace part outside in the end but again, there's not much atmosphere. It's part owned by John Malkowitz so I expected a bit more... More

"Bica do Sapato" is an exquisite restaurant! It has a modern décor and a fantastic ambience! The staff are very friendly and pay attention to detail. The food is amazing! We had the seafood soup and the vegetable soup with a soft egg. Both were very delicious! For main course the three of us chose different dishes: the grilled tiger... More

It's a big place and restaurant is part of it which means you will always get some of the music club darkness, noise and cigarette smoke, even if you are sitting in a theoretically separated area (no physical wall though between our dining table and a group of guests puffing away). The food was pretty much ok but from a... More

It's not hard to be polite and acknowledge a simple "good morning". There are plenty on top notch restaurants in Lisbon where the servers know how to welcome guests. Never again.

Food is good and service is great. It is pricey and not so cozy, but it is not that kind of place anyways.

The industrial outside of this restaurant is hiding a place of food heaven and facilities that just amaze the customers and create a relaxing venue. The service they provide is excellent and I would say that this restaurant is a hidden gem of the city, that I highly recommend people visiting.

This week-known restaurant has had his glorious times with John Malkovitch.....it is now over .......not very cosy atmosphere but staff kindly assisting....one only very good dish: ask for their Special "Fresh Cod on Braz" (Braz is a typical Portuguese mixture of scrambled eggs, onions, mini fried potatoes, etc)...excellent - and finish with a Taste Tatin - this is an expensive... Stylish, designer restaurant on the Rio Tajo waterfront. Undoubtedly, a hotspot during summer. Food was delicious, staff professionally friendly.

It's a great place for dinner. Make sure to book in advance as it might be fully booked. We were warmly welcomed and could take some very good aperetive (drinks) at the bar before dinner (We went there very early in the evening). Great Sushi and the main course was very delicious. They have a wide choice of vines and... More

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
