We recently had dinner here as our hotel recommended it & we are so glad they did. The restaurant is nicely decorated, very comfortable, welcoming & offers a nice menu. Our server, sorry don't remember her name, did an excellent job. She helped us interpret the menu, select a great red wine, & enjoy an all new experience. Would go... More

Just off the main square in the historic center. Either go early or make a reservation. We went for lunch, loved it so much that we went for dinner. The four of us shared dinners with wine that was paired by a VERY informative waiter.

Recommended by our hotel, and it didn't disappoint. We had the "chopped beef in garlic with mixed pickled vegetables" a wonderful stir fry appetizer. The shrimp in garlic oil was also terrific, just be aware that this is Europe and most shrimp come with the heads and shells. For mains we had the beef in Port sauce, beef in beer... More

Convenient to our hotel, the Sintra Boutique Hotel, we enjoyed dinner here on two occasions. The first time, we were especially fond of the starter dishes, but the main course was as appealing, lamb, which seemed to be mostly bone with little meat. On the second occasion, I ordered a risotto and that was better. Food quality overall is good.... More

We tried this place for lunch at the recommendation of our hotel (though they had recommended them as a dinner option). It's certainly a cozy place but not to extent of some of the other reviews portrayed. Service was good and friendly. Prices were reasonable. They accept all major credit cards including American Express. This place is easy to find,... More

I came here by myself for a lunch - despite being super busy, they went out of their way to get me a corner. The staff is what makes this place - such nice people. All of them. Food fantastic - love the tapas. Good Portuguese wine selection too! My new fav in Sintra!

Disappointing. The menù is so short and most likely is fried stuff. I asked gently something without milk or similar cause i am allergic and i barely found something to eat. My husband got a steak that was so little and absolutely raw, and i don't mean light cooked, i mean spilling blood and taste of BLOOD. My meal was... More

We stopped in here for dinner. Our hotel had recommended the restaurant below, but they were closed for a private event. We ended up at Romaria de Baco and had a fantastic meal! Mariana, our server, was incredibly friendly and helpful on recommendations. I heard her talking with customers in 4 different languages over the course of the evening, so... More
