I don't recommend this restaurant. We were a family of 6 and had 3 dishes: bacalhau, arroz de pato and rojoes de porco. Just the first one is worth repeating! The deserts at the end were a nice surprise tough.

We had dinner at Sao Frutuoso during weekend and it wasn't very full. The staff is very nice and helpful (much nicer than average in Braga!!) The food is pretty good and well priced. It was just a bit of a pity that we had to choose one same dish for the two of us as I really wanted to... More

Warm, cosy and traditional place. Great for a romantic dinner or to spend time with friends. Has a list of delicious dishes and a widespread wine list. Service is personalised, and very friendly. Highly recommend.

The greatest potugese food in braga!the waiters and waitresses were so kind and friendly. Food was great and so was their service. I def will come back next time i visit braga!

Sao Frutuoso, in its present form, has been around for perhaps three decades. The menu offers sophisticated versions of traditional Minho dishes like bacalhau, vitela, and cabrito, etc. The Boss adapts his offerings to the seasons. His starters are noteworthy: excellent olives, blood sausage, codfish cakes, presunto, cheese, etc. Everything here speaks quality and care. The restaurant itself has architectural... More

I was there for a dinner and it was amazing. I tasted the cod fish with bread with a white wine that was served very ice cold. I will be back there again for sure.

I went with my girlfriend Just to try the n1 restaurant in Braga. It really is the n1. The food is awesome! We ate "bacalhau com alheira" and it was delicious! But, Just like every restaurants in Portugal they included the starters in the bill, although we didn't asked them. There is a law in Portugal that says that if... More

The building and decoration is very typical and interesting, the food is homemade, very tasty and one of the best in the region, but it's really expensive, making the value for money not so clear than it should be.
