During a recent short break, we visited this riverside restaurant twice, once at lunchtime and once in the evening. On our afternoon visit we both selected a local dish which the waiter explained was cod fish in mashed potato, cream and cheese. The dish looked for all the world like fish pie and tasted similar, but was of a different... More

The atmosphere was OK, and that's the best thing I can say. I had the white asparagus starter, and it came from a can. The olives were not edible. Like most tourist traps in Porto, they immediately brought bread, olives, and some kind of "pate" which we turned back because there would have been a charge. The total price for... More

We enjoyed the music and the clown show that came with this restaurant! The food was not great, we both had pasta but the view is good and the service was fine.

We had dinner here the food was average and expensive and the service terrible. You certainly get the impression here they don't like tourists and proceed to give them second rate service. We three were seated well before a table of locals who also didn't have a reservation and we're not only served way after them but we're not even... More

Went here for dinner because our first choices were fully booked. No wonder this restaurant had tables available, the whole experience was bad: the food was made with lots of canned ingredients and lacked inspiration, service was quick but waiter has a misplaced sense of humor, atmosphere was absent. Only to be considered when you're absolutely starving.

Sat just inside the restaurant right by a large window. Hubby enjoyed the grilled fish. Potatoes were very good- slightly thicker than a potato chip. Waiter recommended a white wine from Portugal that we enjoyed. Dessert was nothing special. Nice view of Gaia across the river.

We wanted to eat by the river as the sun went down. We feared the worst choosing a restaurant because places with prime locations can be a bit rubbish. However, we had a good night at this place. That was partly the setting of course, but we the food and service was fine and didn't have the negative experience that... More

Went there the other night with my brother and sister. They gave us cheese and olives at the beginning when we first sat down as if it was complimentary but ended up charging us 16 euros for it! My food was cold. Just crappy all around. Spent way too much money on crappy food. The waiters are shady people they... More

A taxi driver recommended to us this restaurant. The place is really nice, the service was correct and the food was OK. All in all, a quite decent place.
