We went here for one of the famous francesinha sandwiches. We waited about 15 mins for a seat. The waitress was very nice and told us all about the place and the importance of the sauce and said split one just in case you don't...More

Too small for the long queue at the door. But once you're inside, it has a quick service. Very delicious Francesinha with a good size (not too big as usual). Very nice and talkative staff (in a good way:)

Went her to try the famous Francesinha sandwich. Great sandwich, not something that you would eat every day, but great for a try. Lots of local people, and other stuff on the menu, we had the sardines with tomato rice. Sardines ok, rice pretty bland...More

This place was recommended by a Portuguese friend which is famous for a traditional dish called Francesinha. Personally I found it very big dish. I suggest the classic Francesinha, not the one comes with egg. It costs 10-12 euros.

Food was great. The “Francesinha” is the best I have had so far. Staff was very helpful in finding seating place for a group of 6 in one of the restaurants. Atmosphere was awesome.

One of the most well known places to eat francesinha. Good quality price. No reservations, and if you don't arrive early be prepared to wait.

We ordered the Francesinha which is a typical portuguese dish made out of toast, egg, beefsteak and cheese. It tasted very good and I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have an authentic lunch in Porto!

Decided to try the cholesterol busting local fayre and went to the most famous cafe. The meal is an experience, service was good but it felt a little impersonal compared to other cafés. Too many tourists (!). You have to try it though.
