Went here for dinner - it was a warm cozy atmosphere with attentive service. The menu is a mix of authentic food and dishes inspired by Portuguese cuisine with a creative twist! Absolutely lovely!

You'll walk by this place and not know it, it's a nondescript apartment, but once you enter the restaurant, it is thoughtfully decorated, candlelight on every table, gorgeous table setting. The menu is creative and delicious, the service pristine. The food was so delicious, start...More

The best restaurant in Porto, no doubt! Absolute delicious food, cozy place, excellent wine and the best service you could ask for! I'm only sorry we only got to eat there twice! It doesn't look like much from the outside, actually like nothing at all,...More

A quaint dining room with polite, friendly service at a recent dinner. We shared a bottle of Grahams red wine that was reasonably priced and delicious. My husband wanted a vodka tonic but settle with a gin and tonic. We had the salmon tartar and...More

I had extremely high hopes for Camafeu. The setting is lovely and the staff are wonderful. For a first course I had the mushrooms with blue cheese and red pepper coulis. It was simple but tasty. The entree was a seafood "casserole." It was described...More

Hello, I’m afraid but there must had been a mistake on the course you chose, because we have two different dishes: one it is a casserole not on the bread with different sea food and the other one like a bread purée only with shrimp...More

Camafeu is a beautiful and charming restaurant. Our server was extremely friendly, spoke great English, and led us through the menu. The food was incredible. I had the fantastic goat cheese ravioli and the best octopus I've ever had. Would highly recommend coming here if...More

We tried a number of times to get a booking, but it was always full. However someone had cancelled and so we by chance could have a seat. We were taken to the best table in the restaurant - the middle table in front of...More

The setting is homely in a warm and stylish way with well spaced tables. Service was friendly efficient and nicely paced. The food was not over fussy but was beautifully executed - octopus was roasted to tender perfection and the flavours were very well balanced....More

This is a lovely friendly restaurant with a good and relaxed atmosphere. Service was good and attentive, in an elegant high ceilinged dining room. As others have said, make sure you book as there were only 22 covers. The menu of largely Portuguese dishes is...More

Dear traveller, I suggest you contact Camefeu directly. I wouldn't rely on the restaurant to read TripAdvisor on a daily basis to check for reservations.... Although I know them as being very conscientious. Try their... More

On the first floor of a historical site in Porto's downtown, recently opened a small quiet restaurant, called Camafeu. Go back to the times where you had a meal at your grandparent's place, where the decor was romantic but eclectic and where you can indulge yourself on mouth-watering but not-pretentious food.At dinner time, you are invited to stay for a late drink and enjoy, through the big windows, the scenery of the square bellow (Praca Carlos Alberto, named after our late King). We invite you to try the tender Sirloin steak or the Duck with figg jam, or the Prawn porridge among other fabulous appetizers and main-courses. Everybody will love our home-made desserts. Don't forget to ask for the famous Portuguese wine from the Douro region, either it's Port, White or Red.
