We ate at Restaurante Cafeina during our first stop over in Porto. The restaurant is near the port and about a 15-Euro taxi ride from the center of Porto, on the border of Matoshinos. Unbeknownst to us, we were seated in the non-smoking area. (Yes,...More

Maybe 15 years ago I was first there ... and impressed. Whenever I was in Porto I came back. Always good food and good service. Renown restaurants over the years often give up their attention to quality and service. Today we went again, with a...More

Great food, great ambiance, great wine list. It is always a pleasure to go to Cafeina. Everything is close to perfection. It may be considered expensive but you are not expecting a restaurant like that one to be cheap. .

nice environment, always welcoming, great food with a great selection of non-traditional options for dishes and some more traditional-inspired desserts. love the chocolate cake! (note: there are spaces for smokers and non-smokers, pick wisely)

We took a 15 minute taxi ride from our hotel to this restaurant and it was well worth it. Slightly off the main thoroughfare in a leafy side street, it's a very attractive room with cool lighting, books along the wall and a smart looking...More

We ate here on a Sunday night and as we were staying along the beachfront it was a 15 minute stroll. We found the food excellent, maybe not very traditional, but worth it. The service was attentive and all spoke English and menu in English...More

It's already a classic. It’s always a good choice to come here. Food is good, good wines available, very good service. Prices are not low but it's worth it.

I've now visited Cafeina a number of times over the last few years. Without exception, it has been a memorable meal - excellent food, good wine and staff who know what they're doing. My meal last week was pretty typical. We dined from their fixed...More

Went to Cafeina on basis of excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Perhaps it has become complacent by its success. Front management look beautiful but they should also do a better job of actually making their customers comfortable. We were put on a table at very...More

I am not from the restaurant, but have been there. I do think if you get in touch with them and explain, they will try their best to arrange it. So I would give them a call or send a direct email to the restaurant.
