I just concluded a wonderful dinner at Adega da Vila. I was starving having just completed my first day of the Camino. I spent an hour and a half enjoy dish after dish that Arvelo, the wonderful server (or maybe proprietor) brought me: olives, tomato and mozzarella salad, shiitake mushrooms, mussels, octopus and a fried pumpkin cake for dessert. He will... More

We were made very welcome when we were the first to arrive this evening. The food was delicious and I had the plumpest mussels I have ever eaten. The service was attentive and it was a great value, authentic, Portuguese meal. Highly recommended.

I decided to dine at this restaurant because it was already quite late and was one of the few that was available to serve me a meal, that was quite attentive and I appreciated that attitude. In relation to the food i think the dishes nothing special and some of them were a bit salty. I honestly think that Vila... More

Friendly helpful service, good traditional tapas style food popular with locals - bill was a bit of a random number imho, but overall a good experience.

The very friendly owner invited us in despite the fact you need to reserve and invited us through the menu and gave us many tasty gifts. We had many items, all very lovely, specially the pork and cheese plate with nice white wine, but the winner is award winning pudding! The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, most recommended!

Very small inside. Quaint. Seems popular with locals and tourists. The prices are reasonable. The food was good. Wine list was well priced. The staff were very pleasant. Best to have a reservation as the place is small and gets packed easily. Also, go a little earlier in the evening if you want to get served easily as they get... More

We visited this cozy restaurant TWICE in Vila Do Conde during our 4 night stay in Póvoa de Varzim! It rarely happens that we go to the same place more than once when on a trip since we want to try different things! But the food and atmosphere was so nice here that we reserved for our next night's dinnere... More

Description
Very Important. It is necessary to reserve a table every day in advance. The cellar of the villa is a small but cozy restaurant, where you can find the best of Portuguese cuisine, good meat, good sausage, good seafood, good cheese and fine wines. The fact that it allows a small family-type care near where guests feel almost at home. The Adega da Vila's decor is very typical wine honors the traditions and Portuguese.
