Don't go here unless you want shrimp. We shared peel and eat shrimp and coconut shrimp for lunch. The shrimp was very fresh, portions were large, and very good. And it didn't hurt that beers were only $2 US each. If you are in the Ladyville area, it is worth a visit.

Shrimp, and more shrimp. The other items on the menu were mostly unavailable. But we did come for shrimp and the shrimp were available in multitudinous servings. We had shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and the shrimp alfredo and were not disappointed.

Our first time out to Captain Hook for dinner. The restaurant is elevated ,open air and overlooking a organic shrimp farm. The views at night of the skyline of area are amazing. The shrimp were delicious and our server took care of us with a smile. We recommend and will return.

We noticed the Captain Hook's sign painted on a building along the main highway in Ladyville (very close to the airport) and decided to try it out. We wondered if we were going the right way because it seemed almost like the road ended, but then we saw signs for the shrimp farm. The restaurant is not at the first... More

Could use a clean up, as the outdoor furniture in the restaurant is really quite shabby...but that doesn't take away from the ambiance, and the excellent food. The shrimp is caught for your plate...(can't get any fresher) and the farm is well maintained...like I said, spend a few dollars on the furniture and freshen up the place, and you have... More

This is a great place to get fresh shrimp caught especially for you. You can watch the net being thrown as you sip on a cold drink. After you order, your shrimp is caught and brought to chef Judine where she cleans, prepares and cooks it up to your specification. The coconut shrimp is awesome! Have lunch or dinner and... More

Coconut shrimp are really good. That's the good news. It takes 45 minutes to an hour to get the food though. Enjoy the location and free WiFi while you wait.

I've had lunch at Captain Hook's a few times recently. It's a great spot for a leisurely lunch before or after stopping at the international airport, or if you happen to be passing through Ladyville. Depending on what you order, you may have to wait for your shrimp to be caught fresh. This is not a place for 'fast food'.... More

They farm shrimp, they catch shrimp and they serve shrimp. That is pretty much all they do....but they do it phenomenally well! Dirty cheap for what it is. All food served on plastic plates - I wouldn't consider proposing there....unless she loved shrimp!
