Our first night in Athens we stumbled across Dia Tafta by chance. We were drawn to the fantastic views of the Acropolis, but the food didn't disappoint either. My pork souvlaki was very tasty and the free glasses of the Raccomelo were very well recieved !!

Excellent live music and great food. What more could you want? The lamb souvlaki was fresh and tsitsiki sauce flavorful. Paired with Sangria, it was a very good meal for a very reasonable price!

Greek taverna with nice atmosphere and delicious dishes, prices are a little bit high but the overall food quality is very good.

The prices in this traditional tavern are a bit for unaware travellers. Considering that in the area you can find a lot of proposals for dinner and lunch, I'm not very sure that the choice is worthwhile In any case the atmosphere is nice and the meat dishes are quite good Avoid in general the Greek salad that is proposed... Even if you only have one day in Athens, go here. I know I'm biased after having had a couple of the greatest Greek meals there, with the best (and inexpensive) Greek wine, accompanied by perfect music. Absolutely try the baked eggplant, but you can't go wrong anywhere on this menu. Wonderful setting in the busy Plaka, but right across... More

Excellent food and the music was great. Loved the fact that they weren't out in front of their restaurant trying to pull people in. Would definitely go back!

It was cold outside, and the waiter offered us "Racomelo", a warm, honeyed liquor. We told him we liked meat, he suggested delicious food. We ate nearly everything on the menu, and enjoyed it all, except for two things that were not bad, just not noteworthy, even though the staff was proud of them: dolmas-style cabbage-wrapped rice and and meat... This restaurant overlooking the acropolis had very good food and very friendly service at reasonable prices. Our waiter thanked us for holidaying in Greece as it was helping their economy!! Overall a very enjoyable lunch.
