Excellent oriental food from three different destinations: India, Mexico and Middle East. The building is worth a visit, Check the painted ceilings and the wooden staircase.

Next to Agios Dionysios church with a huge tree outside the windows of this lovely old building... Restaurant occupies upper floor and has classic decoration. Service is good and the food is also good (not exceptional) with a multi-ethnic menu to choose from.

The atmosphere of a preserved old building in a nice neighborhood is very welcoming, as is the excellent service. A rich menu with various dishes from different cuisines, make it hard for you to choose! Very good value for money; prices are good, as portions are large. Delicious, fresh ingredients, a great combination of spices, ingredients and sauces. The Altamira... More

Me and my boyfriend visited the restaurant on February 5th, 2016 and we had a lovely night. The dishes were tasty, the building housing the restaurant is fantastic and we were lucky to hear Mrs. Koskina at a live performance. Her fascinating presence made the evening even better. The only negative: a lack in ashtrays, which was corrected after my... More

Re post of my other post !OK so here's the deal - this is a large house with a big 'garden type area that is really inside. It has Character ! - the menu is mixed IND, MEX, ASIAN, ESP - so expect exotics - curries and noodles with tortillas and wraps. They say the service is slow - maybe... More

This restaurant is located in the heart of Athens, in Kolonaki region, in an old traditional building, very beautiful inside. We had a dinner there, 2 days ago. They have a wide variety of dishes, mainly indian, mexican, asian, arabic, as well as greek also. We ordered mexican dishes which were well cooked and presented, in good portions but indifferent... We went there to celebrate therefore we were on a very good mood. We have ordered one salad which was very nice. Main dishes as well as appetizers were average, I have ordered a main dish which was spicy but was not written in the catalogue and the waiter didn't inform me. Generally average restaurant with average service.

I visited the restaurant during midweek around 10.30am. There were only two other companies in the restaurant. the service was very good. The environment was excellent at an old traditional building in the center of Athens, with high ceiling with view to a very nice church. The first dishes were nice. We tried dishes from india and Mexico, but i... More

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighbourhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighbourhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
