Good quality. Not much space for hanging around. The Souflaki is excellent. You will have to wait, but what you get is real fresh.

This is by far THE best souvlaki we have had thus far and we've tried quite a few this trip. So fresh and delicious!!!! Definitely a place that is a favorite amongst the locals and happy we could get a taste of it as well. We will be going back😋

Went there with my girlfriend as she insisted and all I can say is that I wasn't disappointed. There wasn't a long line but we waited a while for the souvlaki but it was worth it. The bread was delicious, warm and soft, and the meat was juicy. If I have one bad thing to say it is the seasoning,... More

The queue looks short but was extremely Long due to the shortage of manpower (?) It took me around 15 mins to just take my order... I didn't fancy the meat. It was hard although barbecued.

Sorry to give a bad review on the place that is so highly rated here but it was a disaster. This fast-food shop is said to be a must-visit place in Athens. I visited it twice. both times it was a disaster. The best what it is said to cook is sloyvlaki and gyros. Well...the pita is overdried, the meat... More

It's a tiny place and hard to eat inside. No vegetarian option for me, but my friends said it was probably the best kebab they had ever had... it's a tourist-free zone but worth checking if you want real food at a very low price... two kebabs and two cokes for €7

We have followed our tourist guide to find it... it was right, the place is very small but the traditional greek food was delicious. There was only negative point:nobody speaks english so we had some problem to order our lunch but for the rest it is unbeatable... for sure i will come back before leaving athens.

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
