Visited before getting on a cruise the following day, look for a decent restaurant on here, this was recommended so made a reservation. The restaurant is in a great position for people watching but the food is really not good and vastly overpriced. Expecting a...great Greek salad in the beautiful capital and what we got was jus mediocre, the lamb chops chosen for second course were low quality and very fatty, I asked for some bread with the salad which can only be described as loft insulation but with less taste. Such a shame as the staff were lovely and the position great.More

After the tiring but fulfilling Acropolis trek … hungry and famished we found this gem ..the prawns / slow braised lamb / lamb chops are to die for … something for the veggies as well . With great service and well priced ..surely had a...great evening … keep it up 👍More

Excellent choice for breakfast or dinner, close walking distance from the Acropolis museum. Located at the beginning of the Plaka (traditional and preserved Athens neighborhood). Tried multiple dinner plate choices and all were excellent, flavor, taste, appearance. Shrimp prawns, tagliata (thin sliced beef), greek salad,...skioufikta (cretan style pasta), cheese croquettes, pita with dips and last but not least Greek gyro plate! Good choices of greek wine and beer, Dionysus himself would have placed his approval stamp. Dessert of local ravani cake with ice cream to finish a “meal to remember” at the old town below the Acropolis fort. Great friendly service without being overwhelming. Xristos, the greek owner is ready to help with your questions for the area and menu recommendations. Highly recommended for your visit to Athens and immersion to the local cuisine “with a twist”.More

The waiters were all friendly and nice, and then the food - a lot and of amazing quality. I couldn't finish by myself my mousakka and asked them to pack it for me in order to take it at the hotel. Lovely setting ; friendly staff ; delicious food ! We ordered sautéed mushrooms with blue cheese ; moussaka ; steamed mussels ; spinach salad with grilled feta & peach . Everything tasted wonderful ; my favourite was the moussaka. Perfectly made ! The steamed mussels...was fresh . I felt it needed more garlic & white wine . Spinach salad was just wonderfully delightful! The sweet peaches blended really well with the feta and greens . I usually do not like blue cheese but the flavour of the cheese blended really well with the mushrooms. Overall great food but slightly too salty for my palate as I am used to very little salt in my food . I finished my meal with an iced cappuccino. Loved the taste of the coffee beans , served without sugar . Wanted to try dessert but there was no more space for it !! I really had an enjoyable meal ! Thank you chef !More

We had a fantastic meal here. Amazing food from a creative menu, lots of unusual and interesting flavours. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Not especially cheap but full five star for food and service. Fantastic

Arrived in Athens late at night and this place was our first stop as we were very hungry after the flight. The food was very tasty and the staff very attentive. Liked all the dishes ordered and their white taramassalata was just divine. The only...dish that I was not so sure about were the tacos. Should have maybe have ordered something else instead but nevertheless the whole experience was just great.More

Nice restaurant on the corner of the street with plenty of outdoor seating. I had one of the daily specials which was sliced beef with a puréed sweet potato and garlic accompaniment which was very tasty. It was slightly more on the expensive side but...it was good quality food and the staff were very friendly.More
