Had lunch there and sat outdoors. Very good food and good service. Also good value for money. Their Lemon Meringue Pie is amazing.

Terina is one of my favorite places to eat when I go to Athens. I've been going there for 12 years now. Their Chef is very good! Although they changed their menu over the years, I can say that their food is still tasty and they have a nice service! I recommend the mousaka plate, their pastas and especially the... More

Delicious greek foods (Moussaka and Stewed meatballs) and great customer service with nice location. Our first dinner in Athens was better than we expected. Our dinner for two with aperitives cost a bit over 30 euros. Not bad compared to many other European countries.

The sun was beating down - 37C - and Terina came into view in a leafy square just off Plaka, an over-hyped part of the bustling city of Athens. The staff appeared on the ball and the clientele included Greek ladies who lunch and the clergy, but appearances are deceptive. Drinks arrived quickly along with iced water - boy we... More

By far the worst experience in Athens. Do yourself a favor and don't go there. Walk a few blocks more to get better service and real greek food.

This was the first restaurant we found when arriving in Athens near where we were staying. It was a rather cold night in early May but we we still left to sit outside. No one of staff mentioned they had an indoor are we could have sat. They put the heaters on but it didn't help much because it was... More

Too expensive considering the quality of food. Souvlaki was ok, but tasteless. Greek salad had only few bites of feta. Dissapointed.

The restaurant sits in a nice quiet area of Plaka away from the hustle and bustle. The service was quite quick, the waitress was lovely and so was the food. Reasonably priced. Lovely to eat outside too, heaters making this possible on a October evening.

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
