Thanks, Rick Steves, for the fine recommendation. We enjoyed a craveable feast last night in a pleasant sidewalk setting just a few blocks from Athens Gate Hotel. Bargain pricing. The local greens in olive oil made a wonderful starter. We were shown fish choices from...More

I read the reviews for this place, and turns out we walked right by it earlier in the day. So we came back for dinner. The greek salad was very good with good ingredients added, especially the cheese. Stuffed peppers tasted great and stuffed chicken...More

The menu seems to change daily and the food was tasty and freshly made. It is a nice small family restaurant, very friendly. Although there are no menus, they will show you what they have to offer. The prices are very reasonable, all our dishes...More

The Iman was the best that we have had in Greece to date. Generally all the food was great and the atmosphere was fun sitting on the sidewalk. Very very good value.

This was only 100 yards from our hotel and highly recommended by a tour director. There are a small number of tables for outdoor seating, but close to a busy street so we chose indoor seating. The restaurant is clean, has a very simple decor...More

Went here for lunch and had Moussaka and grilled chicken (and Greek salad). No menu that we could see - Waitress reads out what is available on a given day which definitely indicates everything is freshly made! Really enjoyed it :)

Named after the well-preserved Thission (ancient
temple of Hephaestus), Thissio is blessed with a small
wooded park and some less frenetic streets that offer
numerous quieter places to stay and eat. Largely
pedestrianised Apostolou Pavlou Street runs between
the Acropolis and forested Filopappou Hill, well worth
climbing for more great panoramas, until it merges
with Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. This leads to the

We ate at this restaurant two weeks ago and enjoyed it. This is a comment for Jennifer - American daughter in law. We spent the weekend in Fayetteville, Arkansas (your old stomping grounds) attending our granddaughter's graduation. Thought of our wonderful meal at Kati Allo and your help in translating for us. Thank you. Mary Garland, TX

Can this restaurant provide gluten-free food? We will be visiting Athens and staying at the Herodion and would like to eat there but one of us needs to have gluten-free food.

The Mediterranean diet already consists of many gluten-free choices and we easily serve several vegetarian and gluten-free choices daily. If we have added gluten (ex: corn flour or flour) to a sauce we let the guest know!
