We came here after reading TA reviews. Location is not easy to find despite using google map. We had to pass through small streets in the evening which we tried to avoid but it was worth it. Chargeable bottle water was on every table. The...daily specials of Lamb and potatoes as well as Moussska were delicious at good portions at moderate prices. Complimentary baklava were given after our meal which was a bonus. Definitely a good find !More

F*****g fantastic! The service was great and so was the food. As a chef from D.C. I have very high standards and this place was more than up to the task. Some everything I ate was excellent, my favorite dishes were the feta atatimos and...the baklavaMore

Great food and atmosphere! I was in Athens on a 5-day vacation with my son, and we ate in this restaurant 4 times during our stay, each time something else. And everything was great and delicious. The service is great, we really felt at home...and very much welcome.More

This restaurant is great. From the time you walk in and look at the awesome environment until the time you leave you feel kind of spoiled. We were seated at a great table where we could watch a lot of food being served and eaten....Everyone looked happy. So we sat back and joined in. We wanted everything on the menu but we settled on Moussaka in a Clay Pot, thinly Fried Zucchini Strips, Grilled Halloumi Cheese served with Pita and Lemon, and Typroayeph - Hot Feta Dip. The moussaka was served and it was piping hot. We both dove in and it was perfect. The meat to noodle to béchamel sauce was right on target. The tastes melted together like butter and bread. Then the zucchini strips were addictive. We just wanted to keep eating and eating. The spicy feta dip was also great. Could have used a bit more spice for us but we ate it up. The Halloumi cheese was Halloumi cheese...I will call it "squeaky cheese". We both prefer feta. The weak link was the pita bread. It was a little tough. Although it did not stop us from eating it. Then awesome complimentary dessert arrived. Tasty baklava. Would definitely return. Service was great. Atmosphere cosy and inviting. Highly recommend.More

What a fantastic restaurant in a side street. We decided on this after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and it’s great to be able to enjoy a meal without the hassle and noise from nearby streets. The food...was excellent, one of the best we’ve had on our whole trip. Would highly recommend taking the time to find this little gem. If you really want authentic Greek food, this is the placeMore

After the Archeological Museum we needed a light lunch place before checking into our hotel. But on Sundays much of Athens is closed. Thankfully, we found Antitamos. Staff was quite welcoming and efficient. The food was very good. My husband and I shared the special...moussaka and Dolmadas with a couple glasses of wine. Perfect for the day.More

Grandma’s potatoes are a gift from the god Delicius. We had such a great meal that we came back again on our bonus day. Other highlights of our meals were the Dorado (whole fish grilled), the daily special Lamb with lemon sauce and perfect Tzatziki....We’ll be back next time we are in Athens.More

We loved the food and wait staff at our first lunch visit that we went back twice. The servers, especially, made us feel very welcome. Clearly, they have many repeat customers.

Very nice dishes and affordable prices. We had a wonderful green salad, meatballs and tzatziki. With beer and the 500ml wine. Very friendly staff. Near the archeological museum if you visit that and feel like a nice place to eat before or after. We would...come back but our hotel is too far away.More

I went there for a casual evening meal and learned it is a place where the portion sizes are generous, taste of food and prices reasonable. That house wine though, it seems some people really like it, I couldn't force two sips down, undrinkable. Just...keep it in mind that this wine may be a hit or a total miss. Staff gave the impression they were there just to do their job, nothing more, nothing less. It's a place to go for sustenance, for a treat I would go elsewhere.More

One of the best restaurant in Athens. We had 2 starters and 2 main dishes. Mousaka and lamb with lemon sauce was are main dishes and we loved it. Also they give us a desert named saragli. We will visit again for sure.

We had a late lunch here after visiting the National Archeological Museum. The atmosphere was charming and the service was efficient. Our food was wonderful. We had a green salad, dolmades, a kebab plate, traditional meatballs with tomato sauce and rice, a pasta dish, and...steak with fries. There was so much food that we should probably have ordered less, but we enjoyed every bite! After the meal we were brought a lovely orange cake as a complimentary dessert.More

Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret,
discovered by relatively few international visitors.
Located behind the main University and Polytechnic
buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students,
intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the
area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to
cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the
best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as
