We eat Greek cuisine plates. A plate with baked Beans, was very good. A Chickpea plate was also excellent. We also take pepper with rice, delicious!!! Price was medium 25-30€ per person with sweet and drink included.

Always enjoyable! Great atmosphere, a comfortable feeling, great food of the honey variety with a twist, a regular place to go when you feel in the mood for something familiar (=oikeio in Greek).

had dinner with good friends, happy to see them and prepared to have a nice gathering. The inexperienced waitress opened mineral water without asking and proceeded to insult me and denied me tap water. She proceeded to call the manager who also informed me that my request for tap water was unreasonable because they don't have pitchers. When we requested... More

Great little place, food was good, very polite staff, probably the only non-smoking restaurant in Athens!!

The decor is charming and the restaurant is in a lovely area of town that is not touristy at all. We shared two starters and two mains. The portions were generous and the food was absolutely delicious. It's obviously a popular place; we visited in the off season and they were able to fit us in on a Friday night... More

Very nice and happy atmosphere, old style, everything is very fresh, non industrial, very very tasty. Local dishes. Great place for lunch / dinner in Kolonaki. Reasonable price.

Visited for lunch. Had sea bass baked with lemon and olive oil. The best sea bass I ever had. Got a great lemon mousse for dessert. Price was reasonable. Great choice for the area.

Classy Greek cuisine upmarket but affordable. Didn't eat here, but had coffee and chocolate cake outside. Nice environment, extra service with classic music. Have thought about all details, even brown sugar. Will revisit for dinner

We could t find anything else in the area that wasn't either souvlaki or pizza, wanted a real meal. The food was tasty but overpriced and small servings. But the service was truly bizarre. Unfriendly and seemingly resentful staff who pulled our plates away before they were finished. The only time in Greece I have felt unwelcome! And a cover... More

I have had lunch on the weekend here twice now, once with my partner and once with friends. A big plus is that the whole restaurant (upstairs and down) is non smoking! Smoking tables are outside, street side. There is a very good selection on the menu which is available in English. Different meats, starters, vegetarian, fish, soups, salad, something... More

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighbourhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighbourhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
