For incredibly fresh, simply prepared, delicious seafood and a fantastic Greek salad, this restaurant is a gem. A no frills, elbows on the tables sort of place, the hospitality couldn't be any warmer. You'll be surrounded by locals from all walks of life who seem...More

The food is good but not exceptional. If you check out the clientele they are foreign rather than Greek, which speaks volumes. However, the fish and seafood is good, although there was not much choice when I visited it.

As always, every chance given, I go to Margaro. Simple menu which they master. Prawns, red mullet, langoustine (when available) and perfectly fresh Greek salad. Price is very good for the food quality, and service is excellent. Highly recommended!

This is one of the oldest fish tavernas in Piraeus, located next to the Naval Military School, sharing in common the closeness to the sea. The menu is very limited but all you eat is wisely picked, really fresh and well cooked. Not many tables...More

The food was fine...although the Greek salad was nothing but tomatoes, peppers, onions and a little slice of feta cheese. The atmosphere was nothing special and the location is a crowded street with cars and no view. You can spend the same money at a...More
