Great tavern with lots of things to have a taste. The staff are also the owners, and dad is the cook. Here you have the chance to try famous Greek traditional dishes. I had a steak cooked with wine, some formaela cheese (traditional cheese of Arahova), salad and a traditional type of meatball not with meat but with legumes. Have... More

We had a great time, very good salads (we tried the one with the orange and eggplant salad), impressive rabbit stew, pork with celery!! If you visit Delfoi, don't miss it

We went for dinner upon the recommendation of George at Pitho Rooms. The parnassus lamb, fried calamari and stuffed grape leaves we ordered were all very delicious. Can't really say that the staff were warm and welcoming, but I guess they were just tired after a long day? Be that as it may, I'm thinking of eating here again before... More

Amazing Greek dishes and deserts. Nice local wine. It's crowded and although the staff tries really hard they are just not enough. Highly recommended nevertheless due to the very high quality of the dishes. Reasonable prices.

This place was well-priced, tasty, and offered a lovely view. We ordered a chicken Souvlaki, stuffed cabbage and a beer and it came to €20.80 (including €2.40 cover charge), and they threw in the Ekmek Kataif dessert which was delicious! Essentially kataifi pastry topped with custard and meringue. The Souvlaki was pretty standard grilled skewered meat, tasty. And the cabbage... More

We went to this taverna in the village of Delphi for lunch on the recommendation of our driver. It didn't disappoint. The menu selection was extensive with traditional food throughout. We had the rabbit and onion stew and spaghetti bolognese made with lovely local fresh pasta. Both were very nice and filling. The rabbit fell off the bone at a... More

High quality food, that was better than average was the order of the day here. Service was surprisingly efficient, given the visiting student groups were also there.

...of a restaurant in a small, Greek village, albeit one with a fantastic classical site in the vicinity, so this is perfectly sound with excellent home-made tarama, fresh salads, grilled meats and delicious local beers. The defining factor is the location - a table with a window view gives brerath-taking views over the olive trees of the plain below to... More

The Vakhos Tavern offers a great variety of food. All food has labels for vegetarian, diary-free and gluten-free products. The labelled food accounts for about half of the total menu. We appreciated it a lot. Vast majority of Greek restaurants provides no information on dietary conditions. We had: 1. Chicken a la Chef (mustard and mushroom sauce) with chips, rice... More
