Day visit to Chania we wanted to include an evening meal. The reviews were good and as we both love Turkish food it seemed an obvious choice. It is located in the once occupied Turkish area of Splantzia. It was warm enough to sit outside so we opted for the little garden area which was lit by loads of candles.... More

Great food: lamb is very recommended as well as one starter with the traditional cremes (baba ghanoush, humus, tzatziki, rtc). The terrace was great and the service was good!

I love to visit the Well of the Turk because I find authentic Turkish and Cretan cuisine. I love their lahmatzun and they also have a big variety of local Cretan dishes. Service is excellent, polite, generous and they are willing to serve half portions (I travel alone usually for business purposes). At the end of the meal if there... More

Whatever dish you chose it will be excellent. Very tasteful, not too much oil... And the venue is great: a quiet but cozy little square near the (also excellent) Ionas Hotel.

First of all this restaurant is difficult to find in a small courtyard of a small side street. It is worth the search. The chef brings together seasoning and preperations which bridge the normal Greek/Cretan cuisine and that of North Africa and the Middle East. Seasonsings were too mild for some in my party, too stong for another, but I... More

Located in the Venetian Harbour, has a magical atmosphere, amazing food and good service. Once you look at the menu you would love to try every single dish on it. And of course, raki and dessert at the end of the dinner.

Away from the slighted claustrophobic old town, this is an oasis of calm. We sat at the side of the resteraunt, there's a choice of outside or garden. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Make sure you go inside and view the well.

Typically romantic, outside dining experience with deliciously seasoned food. We love Greek and Turkish foods, and this one is worth checking out. Half the fun was finding it!...We had a wonderful meal here on a beautiful night.

We were recommended this in our hotel we were staying. Prices were okay and service was good. We order two starters both were nice without being anything special, for our mains we got pita kebabs that were a big let down. Meat had been precooked so was dry and slightly cold. Much better food to be hard!!

We enjoyed the food. The avocado salad was superb. My spouse ordered the slow cooking chicken and I had the lamb. Both dishes were great. The service was very good and the price reasonable. The only downsize is the sitting. The chairs were not comfortable.
