We visited here for the first time in six months to celebrate two birthdays. As it was still Spring we had to eat inside rather than on the outside terrace and, after a glass or two of champagne at the bar, were seated on the upper floor. The bar is a pleasant way to sit and chat before eating but... More

Without a doubt the best restaurant in Chania! Great service, great food with a fantastic presentation. Carmel's music completes a wonderful dining experience. I wouldn't change a thing....

Beautiful last night in Crete. Extensive menu, Excellent food and service, wonderful atmosphere. I loved the background music. The salad (to share) and the pizza were delicious. I personally had the tuna steak with seaweed. Delicious is an understatement! Can not wait to go back again for a revisit.

The bread plate for €1.20 was disappointing. The bread was cold and not very flavorful. But the olives separated from their pits very easily. I'm convinced that Greek restaurants don't know that pitted olives exist! The mozzarella bruschetta made up for it though. Thin layers of mozzarella and diced tomatoes with olive oil. The mojito I ordered was a bit... More

First of all the service was excellent as it should be in all quality restaurants, as for the dishes we tried the prosciutto spinach salad but all the taste was covered by truffle oil.. also the truffle stuffed ravioli taste was also covered by oil again. The ravioli itself was nothing special. We also tried the linguini with porcini mushrooms... More

My organization needed a venue for a 40 person dinner in Chania. Kariatis was able to provide a private upstairs room, wine selection, multiple appetizers, salads, choice of main course, and dessert for our group. The ambience was perfect. The wine was great. The food was out-of-this world good. It was much better than what you typical get at a... More

We ordered bruschetta, Gorganzola gnocchi, tortellini spinach parmesan, and a bottle of the little Prince red wine with tiramisu. All very, VERY GOOD. Our number one is Don Rosarios. ...but this is a strong #2!!!

The food is fantastic and the service is great. More expensive than some of the other restaurants in the area but definitely worth it. The menu is extensive and makes it difficult to chose what to order.

This was our best meal in Chania. It is a little higher end than most of the restaurants there and is slightly out of the way though some of the outdoor tables have a little bit of a water view. The service is friendly but professional and the food was very good. My husband and I shared a salad and... More
