Drove up to this restaurant, after we had visited as part of a group a couple of days beforehand. We thought we would find it one evening and give it a proper try. When we got there it didn't look open. However the owners said they would look after us. We had a variation of dishes , and I was... More

Everything about this place is authentic. We spoke to the proprietor and learned that everything is made by hand, even the pasta. The food is rich and subtle, the decor is low-key. I particularly remember this amazing salad with greens and pomegranate seeds with some crumbly cheese. Mind you, I visited this place a while ago and I STILL dream... More

Once more we have visited the place since our last time, almost a year ago. Not much to say, only to enjoy. You can only taste the plates and the atmosphere! Leave the words apart! Keep up with the excellent work! Bravo!

This is the must to have a dinner when in area. The aura makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The freshly made food of highest quality is their top asset. When the bill comes one feel even happier as realizes it was the best value for money ever. Highly recommend - not to be missed

We enjoyed a really nice dinner at Psomi kai Alati and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something off the beaten path in Elounda. The restaurant is in a small village up toward the top of the mountain/ridge. It was very quiet -- the village felt almost deserted, but that added to its appeal! We ate on the... More

Called at this taverna today whilst on a train ride around Plaka and the surrounding area. Small village with a beautiful old church. We had some fab cold beer and some snacks of Greek cheese tzaiki and French fries followed by ice cream and homemade apple pie. Very reasonably priced friendly atmosphere

We stopped at this taverna while traveling on a little blue train. It's the only place where you can eat in this little mountain village. Besides there are nothing to do during almost one hour stop. The food is good but nothing more. I can't say WOW. Though the setting is nice and resident cat is pretty.

Really delicious rabbit casserole with walnuts and honey (it does not taste sweet), that is truly memorable. As was the delightful train ride.

Stopped there as part of the Happy Train ride on our way down the mountain. Very clean and nice. We got taziki, stuffed wine leaves and their special 40+ ingredients green salat. Only one word - WOW! My teeth are running in water just thinking about it. Kids got a peach sorbet that was just as mouth watering delicious. Stop... More
