Excellent service, quality and variety of greek tranditional dishes in a very nice and quiet spot very close to historical center of Heraklion and with beautiful sea view at Heraklion harbor. Mid-expensive and small quantities are the only drawback, but still remains a good choice forn lunch and dinner.

Very good food. Great atmosphere. The stuffed sardines is a very good dish but order 2 of it because it a bit small. Very tasty fruit and cakes at the end. Very nice people!

Nice greek Taverna, in a quiet place far away from the huste and bustle of the old center heraklion. The only down side it's close to another restaurant (basicly tables are one next to the other) and that's a bit confusing. The food, simply delicious... you must try the mussels saganaki... one of the best i have ever tried, delicious... More

Found almost by accident, looked authentic. Just off main harbour road in quiet square. Nice food, fish not overpriced, good friendly service, complimentary fruit at end of meal. Sorry we did not find it until our last night-would definitely return and recommend it. Locals eating here too which we feel is always a good sign.

The place is well made in a great location (near historical museum) next to the seafront of Heraklion. The staff is great (friendly and professional at the same time). The service is quite fast. The food quality is very good but not great. The prices are a bit expensive. Order mushrooms (you will find them great).

Stumbled across this by chance, no pestering for attention and you can seat yourself, there's a large menu at the front in several languages too. The server asks what language you speak and you receive a menu where you simply check the boxes of what you want. The prices are all visible for you to see. You'll be given a... More

We were looking for something a bit off the tourist path and we found "Paraskevas". We had a lovely Cretan salad, followed by cuttlefish stew for me and a orzo pasta with beef for my wife. A small, but lovely dessert of some fruit and a portion Cretan ekmek kadaifi (for free) finished this very tasty lunch. Highly recommended restaurant!
