This is a lovely family run taverna which is shown in the service. Warm and friendly waiters and even the cook came out to ask how we enjoyed our meal. We enjoyed our meal here immensely, the dolmades are by far the best I've tried! Excellent value. This was a return visit for us and definitely not our last.

Not only the owner is passionate and very nice, but also the waiters are lovely and funny, the food is just delicious and if you come on a Friday evening, you'll enjoy dancing with Stephanos, Nikolaus and their 'danseuse'. A big thank you to the whole team for a precious moment of sharing. Elisabeth

Eating at Taverna Roumeli is a must for anybody visiting Nissaki, or the surrounding area of the North West of Corfu. In fact, I would say it is worth going out of your way of you're going anywhere on Corfu. I had read about this fantastic Taverna on Trip Advisor, and even though it was about a 20 minute uphill... We were just out for a walk along the coast from Nisaki to see how far we could get from the tavernas on the beach to the Nisaki Hotel (because we knew the beach there. Anyway, it was hot and it seemed to be taking a long time so we climbed up to the main road and happened into Roumeli's... More

Roumelli is one of our favourite restaurants in Corfu. Vangelus and his wife Anna go out of their way to ensure that you will enjoy ,not only their wonderful food, but also the whole experience. Anna's home made bread is hard to beat!

just to say I revisited the Roumeli Taverna again in June, as I passed along the coast road from Corfu town. I stopped for some lunch and found it was just delightful again. Best homemade food to recharge the wary soul. Would suggest a stop if you find yourself on the coast road going towards Nisaki village.

Just outside Nissaki heading north on the seaward side of the road you will find Roumeli's. We have been there several times over the last 12 months and have never been let down. Vangelis decided to stay open over much of the winter and made us most welcome. Have found that if you tell Vangelis what you don't like and... More

Ate here twice and was by far our favourite. This is listed as Roumelli Grill, Nissaki so there are reviews placed there separately, which means this is not looking the full reviews it should be.

Roumeli is a really fabulous restaurant. We were staying at a villa in the area and checked on Trip Advisor for local restaurants. We could not find Roumeli, for some reason is listed on the Nissaki page as Roumeli Grill but has not reviews? Anyway the food here is simply superb. The menu is extensive, the food is really fresh,... More

On a previous visit, my Mum had mentioned that I'm vegetarian, and had been told that if she phoned the day before we went, they would ensure that there were vegetarian options. She did, and they did, but in truth, there were plenty of veggie options on the menu already, without them making anything special. They were happy to grill... More
