Very delicious food and nice view from the balcony. Lobster was finished so we had schrimps pasta (60 eur per kg) as main but we didn’t regret it. The schrimps were so fresh and the pasta was so good. It is a busy restaurant so we were lucky to be there a bit earlier and could find a table directly towards the sea. The owner was also very polite. Highly recommended!

They prepare a lot of cookings all tasty and homemade. The only "problem" is that most of them are consumed early, so you'd better prepare your visit there by phoning and ordering the dish you wish to eat. Nevertheless they also grilll or fry meat or fish upon ordered, so you never stay hungry. The place is a balcony on the sea shore so you have sea view while taking your meal. Service kind and fast, prices reasonable

A meal to remember

We preordered lobster pasta which was incredible. The chef lived up to our expectations. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood, grilled meat and homemade dishes. The restaurant has an amazing view of the main town.

Worst experience in Skyros… we wanted to have a nice seafood dinner, we have chosen this place for the good reviews, but the experience was awful. When we made our order most of the things of the menu were not available and we ordered octopus and lobster spaghetti. Octopus was delivered very fast and it was good, but after that we waited for 1 hour… when after 45 minutes I have asked about our order the waiter was bothered, we asked the second time and they have explained is that standard time for spaghetti lobster was 45 minutes… but nobody told us. The quality was just ok, fresh lobster but too much garlic in the sauce, for the price that they asked for I was expecting a perfect dish instead of bad service and average quality. Too bad we have wasted our time and money here, probably in other places service was much better.

Lousy service with nothing special to eat

There were only few things on the menu to choose from, when we finally got the chance to order. Service was chaotic, waiters were running around from the kitchen to tables like crazy. A waiter pulled the menu out of my hands, when we finished ordering. First, we waited for the table, then for the menu, then for the drinks, then for the food … At the end, price was 27€ per person, we ordered only Greek salad and fried potatoes, one main dish per person (spagheti with shrimps), 0,5L of wine, 1L of natural water and 2 Fantas. The best thing was fried potatoes and rosé wine. We would not come again. There are many better restaurants in Skyros.

We went today, after a 2 day reservation at 4 o'clock, we were served after 1 hour and 10' pasticcio, moussaka defrosted in coke shape, unacceptable like a mush, aubergine salad left on the plate, shrimp pasta uncooked with overcooked spaghetti undercooked, shrimp kathpsns for 2 people 30 eu. The tomato salad was good as well as the beer and water 2ev (10 min purchase). We paid 100eu and finally ate at our house

One of the most clean restaurants i have ever met located over the beach of "magazia" with a balcony with an astonishing view of the aegean sea. The food was excellent regarding both quality and taste. Traditional dishes with a modern touch, good prices, excellent service

Formerly one of the best restaurants on the island (and I know what I'm talking about after seven years here), Stefanos no longer lives up to its former reputation. Dispatched service, rubbery and poorly cooked souvlaki, little choice on the menu... and the icing on the cake we arrive at seven o'clock, seated at a table with a view but when settling down another waiter forces us to take another table at the back under the pretext that the one with a view is reserved. 1h30 later, the same table is still free (...) move on, Skyros has fabulous restaurants of which Stefanos is no longer a part

MEMORABLE MEALS WITH A VIEW!

Our first meal in a recent visit to Skyros was lunch at Stefano's. On a previous visit we had eaten there almost daily, as its comfortable outdoor terrace was perched above our favorite part of the vast beach. The views of Magazia beach coupled with a wafting sea breeze made for memorable lunches as well as great early dining experiences. Everything was SO fresh. We returned on this visit two more times for fresh fish and vegetables. The food, service and location/view could not be better. Every single member of the restaurant's staff could not be more accommodating. And the menu offers a traditional list of Greek specialties: Horta with lemons, Meatballs with French Fries, Tzatziki with fresh bread that seemed to have been baked that day! The Moussaka could have been a little firmer to my tastes. And no one rushes you through any of your courses which allows you to relax and enjoy the views. If you're down at the beach or perhaps just want a change of scenary from Chora, DO VISIT O Stefanos!

Very nice place/food

The tavern is by the sea. The view is great. The waiters polite and always with a smile. We had a salad (abelofasoula), octopus cooked - omg it was amazing - and a fish (rofos i.e. Dusky grouper) which was greatly cooked. I would recommend it for you to try their menu.

The best tavern on the island

I think Stefanos's tavern was one of the best on the island. The cooked food was amazing (the stuffed zucchinis were the best I've ever eaten) and the shrimp pasta was simply perfect. The view to the sea and the service of the staff just made the restaurant so special.

We visited the store for the bacon. Unfortunately, she was very bad. The straw was violated, resulting in it being empty, immune, with too much hill and we were served not a straw but pieces (typically I mention that it had 2 heads ( 4 eyes) in pieces). I do not recommend it, given that there are other really remarkable shops on the island.

Very nice place for lunch

Very nice taverna on a ledge on a very nice beach. Food was very good with great variety. It is rumored that it has the best cooked goat - local's opinion. Staff was friendly and fast. The view as you can see from the pictures is amazing, my suggestion is to book a table and go to the beach underneath.

We pre-ordered lobster with pasta.The dish was super and the lobster fresh and great.The staff was very friendly and almost all the tables have view to the sea.I suggest if you want to eat lobster to pre-ordered it because it is very possibly not to find one.
