It is in the centre so the visit will not be only for that, which is good. It is very close to the round tower and the post office

Being kind of a library, it gives you a special relaxed feeling. The barkeeper was flexible with closing hours on request.

Oldfashioned nice atmosphere. Its a library. Like being in old England. In December they have a chistmas-tree upside down from the ceiling.

This bar is a hidden gem, you have to go here if you love drinks and jazz music. Recommend to try the whiskey.

The decor and atmosphere just send you to another time; the walls are covered with dark wood panels or book shelfs stuffed with old books (which you are allowed to read). The furniture is mostly armchairs and small sofas in dark leather. They serve classic cocktails, spirits, wine and have a few beers on tap. Usually there will be live... More

Decided to pop in for some drinks before our flight home and I can assure you, these are some of the best cocktails I have ever had! Waited on by the wonderful and friendly Fabio, he understood what flavours we were looking for and his recommendations of cocktails definitely ticked the satisfaction list! Flavours were well balanced and presentation was... More

It's like stepping back in time when you walk through the solid door inside the Plaza. Greeted by leather sofa's, oak panelled walls and leather bound books you immediately forget about the hustle and bustle of the lively city outside and can enjoy a brandy in this stylish, dimly lit bar.

Quite a small bar located in the Plaza Hotel near Copenhagen Central Station. Dimly lit, leather sofa, wood panels, books & plaid carpet. Lovely place to don some tweed & have a gentlemen's beverage. Atmospheric, individual & worth a visit.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
